NMCG–WII जलज परियोजना के अंतर्गत हवाई अड्डा गांव में गंगा प्रहरी मुरारी कुमार द्वारा चेकर्ड कीलबैक (𝘍𝘰𝘸𝘭𝘦𝘢 𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳) सांप का सफलतापूर्वक बचाव किया गया। स्थानीय लोगों को बताया गया कि यह विषहीन सांप है। बचाव के बाद सांप को सुरक्षित रूप से कोतराहा वन प्रक्षेत्र में छोड़ दिया गया।

NMCG–WII जलज परियोजना के अंतर्गत भारियानी गांव में एक घर से Buff-striped Keelback ( 𝘈𝘮𝘱𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘴𝘮𝘢 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘮 ) का सुरक्षित बचाव किया गया। स्थानीय लोगों को बताया गया कि यह एक विषहीन सांप है, जो मुख्य रूप से मेंढक और अन्य छोटे जीवों का भोजन करता है। सांप को सुरक्षित रूप से कोतराहा वन प्रक्षेत्र में छोड़ दिया गया। यह कार्य मानव–वन्यजीव सह-अस्तित्व और जैव विविधता संरक्षण की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल है।
