Dear participants, please note that date of entries for the photography contest has been extended by 2 days. the last date for submission of the photographs is 21st May 2014 by 11 A.M.

On the occasion of International Biodiversity day on 22nd May, the Uttarakhand Biodiversity Board is organizing a photography contest. Anyone can take part in this contest and no registration fee is required for it.

Theme for Contest:
1. Biodiversity and Culture of Uttarakhand.
2. Landscape and People of Uttarakhand.

Terms and Conditions for the Contest:
1. The photo must be the original work of the photographer and must not be edited using any softwares.
2. Send in your photographs by post or by hand to “Uttarakhand Biodiversity Board 108/Phase-II, Vasant Vihar, Dehra Dun, Uttarakhand, India-248001” or “Janki Devi Educational Welfare Society, 74/35 Rajpur Road, Opposite Hotel Madhuban, Dehradun-248001”
3. The last date of accepting the photographs is 19th May 2014 till 5 P.M.
4. Each theme will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions and the winners will be awarded on 22nd May 2014 with certificates and cash prizes.
5. The photographs can be coloured or Black and White. The photographs should not be less than 10”X12” or more than 12”X18”.
6. Please write a title for the photograph as well as your name, address, email id and contact no behind the photograph.
7. You can send a maximum of 5 photographs per theme.
8. The board will also organize an exhibition of the photographs received. The details of this exhibition will be conveyed later.
9. The board reserves the right to publish the photographs in its publications.
