On 22nd May, the Delhi police family took on the initiative to help patients & their families belonging to the state of Sikkim also residents of Darjeeling & Doors who are residing in Delhi NCR. The pandemic took a toll for the worst in India. Delhi has become one of the most hard-hit states.
Hence Delhi police family decided to provide the families with ration supply. Delhi police family include jawans from both Sikkim & Darjeeling who are allocated in Delhi. After sympathising with the difficulties faced by our brothers & sisters we decided to carry out this noble thought. However, this was not the first time the Delhi police family came forward to help the people in need last year also they distributed the same items to the respective households.
Moreover, police officers of batch 2019 participated with full zeal & a feeling of patriotism our jawans helped the people without thinking of their safety first in this act of social service.
The Delhi police family extends big gratitude to the Sikkim & Darjeeling police force who gave their support & help. we are extremely grateful to miss Richa Gurung who help in this initiative even though she is from Meghalaya she proved that humanity is a precious and a key character each person should have likewise we extend our gratitude to Mr Rahul Kunwar, Mr Brigen & Mr Bikash Tamang to help us.
All safety rules & regulations were followed while distributing the ration supplies.
Alone we may have not achieved this goal but with team effort we accomplished it.
