PSYA members joined the protest march organised yesterday against the Aastha Kunj Park gang-rape incident and the continuous failure of the state and society in ensuring women safety throughout the nation, as highlighted by the recent such incidents in other parts of the country.

Fight against patriarchy is intrinsically linked with a fight for a socialist society, moreover with a fascist party in power, all the rotten values of our society are being celebrated. In such a situation, it is important that women rise up and assert their rights, their freedom, demand accountability and demand a society that allows them live and build their lives without the constant fear and threat of sexual violence. And we are sure that these things can only be achieved on the strength of people's resistance, people's movements. In solidarity with all the victims of sexual violence, we all stand with you and will struggle with you for a better tomorrow!

PSYA Delhi concluded its campaign, Jashn-e-Inquilaab, celebrating the centenary of Naujawan Bharat Sabha with a cultural celebration on Sunday, 6th September. The program featured the performances by the theatre collective TOTO Repertory of their play "We Shall Fly the Red Flag", music performance by music collective Rifaaq, and a screening of docu-fiction by the Camera Commune Film Collective "Revolutionary Past Beckons". The program started with an introduction and then the presidium was invited to lead the program. A recitation of Naujawan Bharat Sabha anthem followed, after which a report on the campaign was presented. Then the theatre collective staged their play. After that there speeches on the history of Naujawan Bharat Sabha and the general conditions prevailing in our society today. This was followed by music performance. Then the key note speech was delivered on the topic of the day, "The Great Indian Youth Awakening: NBS redux for revolutionary change". After that the docu-fiction was screened. A resolution was passed with general approval of the assembly for the adoption of Naujawan Bharat Sabha anthem as the anthem of PSYA. Finally the program was concluded by a vote of thanks and presidential address.

Thank you everyone who joined us and who made it possible for us to to conduct this campaign.

Onwards with the goal of Naujawan Bharat Sabha, for a socialist republic!!!

PSYA invites you to the concluding cultural celebration of our campaign "Jashn-e-Inquilaab" celebrating centenary of Naujawan Bharat Sabha.

Our Jashn-e-Inquilab campaign is all about reclaiming the vision of Naujawan Bharat Sabha in its centenary year. The legacy and vision of NBS, its call for revolution with the ideals of socialism and rule of the toiling masses, its rooting for secularism can only stem the rot that has set in. It helps us meet the challenges the fascists have set and sets the pace for unclogging the blocking of the revolutionary stream effected by the reformists. In this event, we will take up the challenges and set forth the historical answers our forebears had and which were waylaid. So over to the cultural celebration. Music, theatre, poetry and analysis await you. Inquilab Zindabad!!
