It was a pleasure to meet Lyonpo Lekey Dorji, the Honourable Minister of Finance of the Royal Government of Bhutan.

Lyonpo Dorji previously served as the Minister of Economic Affairs in an earlier Bhutanese government. He has extensive experience in the civil service, private sector, and as an international development consultant for organizations including the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and JICA.

Our discussions revolved around his global experience and efforts to improve the economy of Bhutan.

I have had the pleasure of meeting many Heads of State and interacting with global leaders, but this encounter was special and will always remain memorable. Meeting His Excellency Tshering Tobgay, the Prime Minister of the Royal Government of Bhutan, was truly inspiring.

I am inspired by the Prime Minister’s warmth, wisdom, and commitment to his people. Moments like these remind us that leadership is not just about governance; it is about compassion, vision, and the ability to inspire hope.

I sincerely thank the Hon’ble Prime Minister, TT as he is fondly known, for his time, gracious hospitality, and a personally signed copy of his book “ Enlightened Leadership” . The most exciting part was when he asked me to sign the copy of my book "Emotional Leadership" which I presented to him.

I look forward to strengthening the enduring friendship between our two nations and contributing, in my own way, to greater cooperation and understanding.

At the Greenpower 2026 Conclave, where I had the honor of being the Guest of Honour, I spoke to the media about the critical focus on green energy and the opportunities it presents for companies in India. The conclave brought together thought leaders and innovators to discuss sustainable practices and advancements in this vital sector.

Shri Jual Oram, the Union Minister for Tribal Affairs and Chief Guest, highlighted the government's initiatives aimed at promoting green energy and supporting businesses in this transformative space. The discussions emphasized the importance of collaboration and innovation in driving the green energy agenda forward.

Green energy is no longer an alternative; it is the foundation of the future. Governments have taken significant steps by introducing policies and legislation, but it is up to us as citizens to invorporate wise energy use in our daily lives.

Embracing sustainable practices can make a difference. Let's focus on energy efficiency, reducing waste, and supporting renewable sources. Together, we can contribute to a greener planet and ensure a sustainable future for generations to come.

I am delighted to share that I will be speaking on “Green Energy Opportunities and Challenges in the Pacific Countries” at the Green Power India Conclave 2026.

The Pacific region, with its immense renewable energy potential, stands at the forefront of the global transition towards sustainable development. At the same time, island nations face unique challenges, including climate vulnerability, infrastructure constraints, financing gaps, and energy security.

I look forward to engaging with policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and sustainability advocates to discuss how collaborative action can unlock a cleaner, more resilient future for the Pacific.

My visit to East West College of Engineering was both inspiring and memorable. As I entered the campus, I was immediately struck by its spacious layout, well-maintained greenery, and a calm academic atmosphere. The buildings stood tall with a modern yet welcoming design, reflecting a strong focus on education and growth.

Walking through the corridors, I could sense the energy of students engaged in their daily routines—attending classes, working on projects, and interacting with peers. The classrooms were well-equipped, providing a comfortable environment for learning. The laboratories, filled with advanced equipment, showcased the college’s emphasis on practical knowledge and innovation.

One of the highlights of my visit was the library. It was quiet, organized, and filled with a vast collection of books and resources, making it an ideal place for study and research. I also had the chance to see some of the recreational areas, where students relaxed and socialized, adding balance to their academic life.

The faculty members I encountered were approachable and knowledgeable, creating a positive impression of the teaching culture. Their dedication to guiding students was evident in the way they interacted and supported learning.

Overall, my visit to East West College of Engineering gave me a clear picture of a vibrant educational institution that not only focuses on academics but also encourages personal development. It left me feeling motivated and appreciative of the opportunities such a campus can offer.
