Another Day of National Exposure Trips of Mentor Teachers.
B. Ed. Division, in collaboration with Amar Jyoti Charitable Trust organised "3- day training progam on Inclusive Education" for B. Ed. trainees (24 - 26 Feb. 2022) venued at Amar Jyoti Karkardooma wherein trainees got sensitised and acquired necessary skills for inclusive education by Dr Vandana, Director (Academic), other experts and through direct exposure of practising inclusuve education.
B. Ed. Division organised extension lecture of Shri Ajay Kumar, Asstt. Commissioner, NVS and Former RD, NCTE on the theme : "Scholarships and Career Options in Education: National and Global Opportunities" for B. Ed. trainees. The session was highly interactive and useful for the trainees.
DAY 1: NET
We are organizing a National Exposure Trips to various destinations of India for the Mentor Teachers, DoE Officers, Officers of Core Academic Unit and Primary Branch, DoE, GNCTD during March' 2022 in 10 groups.
The objective of this exposure trip is to:
1. Explore the best practices in the field of education,
2. Cultural exchange among educators of various states,
3. Improvement of teacher’s motivation and enthusiasm,
4. Acquaintance with various social cultural ethos in India,
5. Promotion of national unity and integration.
One day workshop for all TDCs on " How to Deal with Stress" was organised in 3 cycles.
Stress is not an unknown word. Its effect and impact on our mental health is something that we take lightly.
May we all lead a de-stressed life.🙏
The B. Ed. trainees attended the lecture on the theme: "Reading and writing the genome with precision: A message for common people" delivered by Dr Debojyoti Chakraborty at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium organised by Govt of India on 24/02/2022.

COVID Pandemic posed challenges such as creating learning gaps across the grades in school education. SCERT Delhi and Samagra Shiksha collaborated to develop self-learning material for students of upper primary grades of Government schools of Delhi in the form of - 'Utkarsh series' - 33 titles in 4 languages.

B. Ed. Division SCERT, Delhi organised an extension lecture of Dr Jayashree sethi, Creative Director of 'Story Ghar' on the topic "Mastering the Art of Storytelling" on 23rd Feb. 2022 in which she not only demonstrated the skills of storytelling but also sensitised and acquainted the trainees about the role and importance of storytelling as a pedagogy in the holistic development of children.
SCERT is organising different training programmes for teachers in full swing, viz Cross Disability for SET, Stress Mgmt for TDCs, Eco Club Incharge, STC teachers, and EVGCs at different venues.
STORY PITARA: A series of 5th graded stories for children in the age group of 6-10 developed by SCERT. These stories are inclusive in nature and have a feel of Delhi.
