DDMA (Central) team has organised an Awareness Session on Natural Disasters and Man Made Disasters.

Venue:- Nehru Yuva Kendra, District Central, ITO, Delhi

Children, School Students, Nehru Yuva Kendra Office Staff staff attended this session.
The techniques regarding improvised method using locally available resources were demonstrated. Demo on Search and Rescue methods was also imparted to participants by QRT Central Team.

regarding Road Safety on the occasion of *31st National Road Safety Week 2020* where lectures have been delivered to the students by DDMA (New Delhi) & Traffic Police official and pledge has been taken regarding road safety by all participants.

Along with above Road Safety Slide also was displayed in all the Cinema Halls of New Delhi District.

*FIT INDIA MOVEMENT*

Fit India Movement is a nation-wide campaign that aims at encouraging people to include physical activity and sports in their daily lives. It was launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. This movement also emphasised the importance of fitness, especially during the contemporary period we live in and it encourages people to change their mindset when it comes to physical fitness. In this regard, District Magistrate Office New Delhi District conducted a 2km run programme on 2nd October 2019 from 07:00 AM to 08:00 AM at Nehru Park in Chanakya Puri, New Delhi. At the end of the programme, all the participants took Oath on the grave issue of “Single use Plastic” products such as polythene bags and styrofoam. Approximately 350 participants attended “The Run” programme including the staff of District Magistrate Office.

As per approval of Respected DM Ma'am & ADM Sir, District Disaster Management Authority , New Delhi has established a stall under the event of *SARAS Ajeevika Mela 2019* at *Stall No. 200, Exhibition Hall No. 01, Lawn of India Gate dated 10.10.2019 to 23.10.2109 from 11 :00 AM to 09:00 PM* in which DDMA New Delhi is presenting & elaborating emergency Equipment to the visitor & School Students along with that DDMA New Delhi also spreading awareness among the people about the Disaster Management, Dengue, Chikanguniya, Prevention measure from Earthquake, Fire,Building Collapse through *Distributing of Pamphlet, Poster & NUKKAD NATAK*
