Students’ Visit to IEC Exhibition at Bharat Mandapam

India is hosting 89th International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) at Bharat Mandapam from 15th to 19th September. Our students had the enriching opportunity to visit the IEC Exhibition where they witnessed the latest advancements in new-generation technologies and sustainable innovations. The exhibition showcased practical applications of alternative energy sources, ranging from e-vehicles to the use of pine pellets as fuel, smart lighting and even HFO fluid as a cooling medium for servers.
The visit not only broadened students’ knowledge about futuristic solutions but also inspired them to think critically about the role of technology in building a sustainable future. This insightful exposure was made possible through the efforts of BureBureau of Indian StandardsS), an organization that has always worked extensively to enhance student learning and connect classroom knowledge with real-world innovations. Students also got to know various Standards prevalent worldwide in Electrotechnical industry. Students took Digital Sustainability pledge at BIS Pavilion and understood the importance of Standards in fostering Sustainable Development.
Heartfelt thanks to BIS for providing this enriching experience to our students. We are looking forward for more such exposure experiences.
