Under the directives of Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay), Sikkim Urja Limited goes one step further and announces the payment of stipend / financial support to eligible and selected candidates.
Part amount will be paid in monthly instalments, and part will be paid on the successful completion of the training.

Proposal for training and skill development of Sikkimese youth at State Institute of Capacity Building under Skill Development Department, Government of Sikkim sponsored under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives of Sikkim Urja Limited.
• The budget of Sikkim Urja Limited for this scheme is estimated at whopping ₹ 3,00,00,000/- (Rupees Three Crores).
• Training fee of the course for the enrolled candidates will be paid as per the requirement and procedure of the Skill Development Department.
• Stipend / Financial Support will also be paid to the enrolled candidates in 2 parts - Around 50 % amount to be paid in equal monthly instalment spread across the duration of the course, and balance 50 % amount on successful completion and submission of the certificate issued by the Skill Development Department.
• The Stipend / Financial Support amount shall be paid directly to the bank account of the candidates.
• Stipend / Financial Support Quantum: For example, presuming that the training is for 3 months. The Stipend / Financial Support would be around ₹ 5,000/- per month i.e. ₹ 15,000/- for three months, plus ₹ 10,000/- extra on the successful completion of the training.
• The project will function as per the CSR rules and guidelines framed by Government of India.
