These targeted trainings play a vital role in building the capacity of key stakeholders, empowering them to take the objectives of ULLAS to the grassroots level. Today marks the start of the 3rd at Assam Administrative Staff College, Guwahati. Inaugurated by Dr. Ranoj Pegu, Hon'ble Minister of Education, Assam, along with Smt. Archana Sharma Awasthi, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Education, and other esteemed dignitaries, the event has brought together around 160 participants from 10 States to celebrate .

Smt. Awasthi shared insights on the challenges and opportunities in literacy, sparking engaging discussions on improving literacy rates nationwide. Today, the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, hosted an induction for Youth Volunteers from Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) as part of the – Nav Bharat Saaksharta Karyakram initiative. Over 10 lakh participants from 13,000 TEIs joined the event via YouTube Live. The program aimed to engage youth as volunteers in the ULLAS scheme, with a collective goal of achieving "जन जन साक्षर"!
