BHARAT TEST HOUSE (BTH) started as an ancillary unit of Bharat Rubber Udyog (BRU), which was promoted in the year 2000 by Mr. Rajiv Kumar Gupta, an entrepreneur in the field of rubber industry. Since 1979, BRU was engaged in the field of automotive and industrial flexible conductive system. But in the succeeding years, Bharat Test House was started and made a niche in the field commercial testing
services. Patronage: Bharat Rubber Udyog enjoys the clientage of various dignified customers namely Reliance Petro-Chemicals, Duncan Industries Ltd, IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, Gun Carriage Factory, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Railways, etc. and is a firm registered by DGS&D, EIL, LLOYODS, DNV, NSIC, SSI etc. Although, the start of BTH was made in a very subtle way with an eye on the expanding horizons in the fields of Polymers, the effort was to establish BTH is a modest endeavor from the beginning of Bharat Rubber Udyog. Gradually BTH expanded its operation of services by adding BTHPL to it to test various category of products under Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Micro-biological, Electro- technical, Foods & Agriculture etc. disciplines that cover Building Materials, Metals & Alloys, Environment (Air/Water), Package/Processed Food/Agro Products, Soaps & Detergents, Wood & Wood Products and latest being IT & Electronics products that are accredited by NABL and recognized by BIS.
