Atal Pension Yojana (APY) is an initiative of Govt of India towards making India a Pensioned Society for secured Old Age Income.

APY is a contributory pension scheme, where the Govt guarantees the pension amount of Rs 1000 to Rs 5000 per month at 60

PFRDA organised the APY Outreach Programme in Thane, Maharashtra, under the aegis of SLBC, Maharashtra, bringing together senior officials from PFRDA, member banks and other stakeholders to review APY’s performance and discuss strategies to strengthen its implementation, outreach and service quality.

The programme was chaired by Mr. Pravesh Kumar, CGM, PFRDA who delivered the Keynote Address, outlining the overall performance of APY and emphasising the importance of improving subscriber persistency, encouraging enrolments under higher pension slabs and enhancing service quality.

Mr. Ruby Vinayak Bhaosagar, AGM, PFRDA, led the technical session, covering the importance of retirement planning, APY’s key features and benefits, along with a review of the performance and strategies of banks in the Thane district.

The programme was attended by Mr. Digambar Mahadik, DGM & Zonal Manager, Bank of Maharashtra, Mr. Manish Kumar, DGM & Dy. Zonal Head, UCO Bank, Mr. Amit Kumar Bhatia, DGM, Union Bank of India and Mr. Abhishek Pawar, LDM, along with other dignitaries and stakeholders.

PFRDA organised the APY Felicitation Programme & Strategy Review Meeting – South Zone in Chennai, bringing together senior officials from PFRDA, member banks, SLBCs/UTLBCs and other stakeholders to review APY’s progress and discuss strategies to strengthen its implementation and outreach.

The programme commenced with a Welcome Address by Sh. Ruby Vinayak Bhaosagar, AGM, PFRDA, followed by a Keynote Address by Sh. Sanjay Pandey, Whole Time Member (Finance), PFRDA, highlighting the importance of strengthening APY implementation and outreach. Shri R. Vijay Anandh, MD & CEO, City Union Bank, delivered the Special Address.

Sh. Pravesh Kumar, CGM, PFRDA, shared key insights on APY performance and the way forward, followed by an Awards Presentation Ceremony recognising winners of various PFRDA campaigns.

A detailed review of Banks and SLBCs/UTLBCs was undertaken by Sh. Ajay Kumar Podishetty, AM, PFRDA, with discussions focusing on subscriber persistency, reducing exits and promoting enrolments under higher pension slabs.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Sh. Nishant Anand, Manager, PFRDA, bringing together key stakeholders to recognise achievements, review progress and chart the way forward for strengthening APY outreach across the South Zone.

PFRDA organised an APY Outreach Programme at Bardoli, Surat, by LDM, Surat, in coordination with SLBC, Gujarat

Mr. Pravesh Kumar, CGM, PFRDA, chaired the programme and delivered the keynote address, emphasising the importance of social security through APY, with a focus on persistency and higher pension slab enrolments.

Mr. Ruby Vinayak Bhaosagar, AGM, PFRDA, delivered a detailed presentation on retirement planning, APY features and benefits, and recent PFRDA initiatives, along with a review of bank performance in the district.

The programme witnessed participation from 200+ stakeholders, including senior SLBC and bank officials, BCs/CSPs, RSETI trainees, SHG women and existing APY subscribers, reinforcing collective efforts towards wider pension coverage, financial inclusion and social security.

PFRDA organised an APY Outreach Programme at Khanvel, Silvassa, conducted by the LDM Office, Silvassa, under the aegis of UTLBC DNH & DD.

Mr.Pravesh Kumar, CGM, PFRDA, chaired the programme and delivered the keynote address, emphasising the importance of expanding pension coverage and strengthening awareness around Atal Pension Yojana (APY).

Mr.Ruby Vinayak Bhaosagar, AGM, PFRDA, delivered a detailed presentation on APY and reviewed the performance of banks in the UT.
The programme witnessed participation from 200+ participants, including bankers, BCs/CSPs, RSETI trainees, APY subscribers, and representatives from UTLBC, NABARD and local media.

The programme reinforced the collective efforts towards wider pension coverage, greater financial inclusion and social security.

PFRDA organised an Atal Pension Yojana (APY) Outreach Programme and Strategy Review Meeting at Chhapra, Bihar, conducted by LDM Saran under the aegis of SLBC Bihar.

Mr. Pravesh Kumar, CGM, PFRDA, delivered the keynote address, emphasising the importance of expanding pension coverage and strengthening awareness around Atal Pension Yojana (APY).

Ms. Shivika Singhal, AGM, PFRDA, delivered a detailed presentation on APY, covering its key features, enrolment process and progress. The session was followed by an interactive Q&A and a review of the performance of participating banks.

The programme provided an opportunity for key stakeholders to deliberate on strategies for strengthening APY outreach and driving greater enrolment across the region. Certificates were also presented to the performing banks in recognition of their contribution towards expanding APY coverage.

Ms. Sumeet Kaur Kapoor, ED, PFRDA, delivered the keynote address and congratulated the participating Banks, SLBCs and LDMs for their contribution towards strengthening APY.

Mr. Pravesh Kumar, CGM, PFRDA, presented an overview of APY’s journey and key performance insights.

The Award Distribution Ceremony was conducted by Mr. Nishant Anand, Manager, PFRDA, followed by a performance review and strategic discussion led by Mr. Ruby Vinayak Bhaosagar.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Himanshu, AM, PFRDA.

PFRDA, in collaboration with SLBC Bihar, organised Atal Pension Yojana (APY) Outreach Programme and Strategy Review Meeting in Patna, bringing together senior representatives from SLBC, NABARD, SRLM, banks, LDMs, CSPs, SHGs, BCs and valued bank customers.

The programme commenced with a keynote address by Mr. Pravesh Kumar, CGM, PFRDA, followed by an informative presentation by Ms. Shivika Singhal, AGM, PFRDA, highlighting APY’s key features, enrolment process and progress.

Shri Vijaykumar Nivrutti Kamble, Executive Director, UCO Bank, delivered the Special Address, while Shri Pravesh Kumar, Chief General Manager, PFRDA, shared key insights on APY performance, strategic priorities and the roadmap for expanding pension coverage.

The event also featured an Awards Presentation Ceremony, recognising outstanding contributions towards APY implementation.
