2 Delhi Naval Unit (2DNU) conducted Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC -2021) from 1st of February- 5th of February at Okhla unit.
During this critical time of pandemic our unit conducted this camp by keeping all safety precautions in concern. All the cadets has shown their enthusiastic participation in Camp and gathered to learn things with unity and discipline.

Lt Gen Tarun Kumar Aich has taken over as the 33rd Director General, National Cadet Corps on 01 Jan 2021.He has been an Instructor in the Indian Military Academy. He has held the appointment of a Brigade Major of a Brigade and General Staff Officer -1 in the Military Intelligence Directorate.He has tenanted the appointment of Colonel (General Staff) of an Offensive Formation in the plains sector, Colonel General Staff (Planning) of a Command Headquarter and has been the Deputy Director General, Canteen Services..

Every year, June 21 is recognised as International Yoga Day but due to social distancing measures adopted by most countries, the theme set by United Nations for this year is “Yoga for Health – Yoga at Home”. The World Health Organization mentions yoga as a means to improve health in its Global Action Plan on Physical Activity 2018–2030: More active people for a healthier world.

Admiral Karambir Singh Friday assumed charge as the 24th Chief of the Naval Staff. Admiral Singh is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla. Commissioned into the Indian Navy in July 1980, he earned his wings as a helicopter pilot in 1981 and has flown extensively on the Chetak (Alouette) and Kamov helicopters.
He is also the first helicopter pilot from the Indian Navy to lead the naval armed forces. Having commanded missile corvette INS Vijaydurg, guided-missile destroyers INS Rana & INS Delhi during his almost 40-year career, he will be Navy chief till November 2021.
