Envisioning and visualizing the concept of turnkey ex*****on of projects as an effective tool to create the needed infrastructure to hasten the pace of multi-disciplinary industrial construction, EPI was incorporated in 1970 as A Government of India Enterprise under the administrative control of Department of Heavy Industry. Since then, EPI has admirably performed its assigned roles as the country
’s leading Prime Contracting Company and has left its imprint not only in India but in the overseas market as well where its past operation spread over a decade in the wake of oil boom in the Middle East. EPI is the first Construction Company to take up large Industrial & Civil Engineering projects abroad. Till date EPI has completed 473 projects in India and 30 projects aborad to the entire satisfaction of its esteemed clients. ईपीआई -गुवाहाटी ने 25 से 27 अगस्त 2022 तक गुवाहाटी में इंडियन चैंबर ऑफ फूड एंड एग्रीकल्चर के साथ संयुक्त रूप से कृषि और ग्रामीण विकास केंद्र द्वारा आयोजित "वाइब्रेंट नॉर्थ ईस्ट -2022" कार्यक्रम अन्य प्रमुख सार्वजनिक उपक्रमों के साथ, नीरो, गुवाहाटी ने भी पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र में ईपीआई की उपलब्धि को प्रदर्शित करने के लिए एक मानक आकार का स्टाल लगाया है। स्टाल का उद्घाटन श्री मुकेश ठाकुर, क्षेत्रीय प्रभारी, नीरो ने नीरो, गुवाहाटी में तैनात सभी अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों की उपस्थिति में किया।

आज़ादी का अमृत महोत्सव(AKAM) के अवसर पर हिन्दी विभाग, ईपीआई कार्पोरेट कार्यालय द्वारा दिनांक 12.08.2022 को दिल्ली के सरकारी विद्यालयों मे निम्नलिखित कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए गए:-
1. विद्या भवन स्कूल, एनडीएमसी, नई दिल्ली में निबंध प्रतियोगिता।
2. प्रोग्रेस स्कूल, एनडीएमसी, नई दिल्ली में पोस्टर प्रतियोगिता।
कार्यक्रमों की अध्यक्षता श्री ए राधाकृष्णन, कार्यकारी निदेशक (एचआर एंड एडमिन) ने की जिसमें श्री ऋषि कार्तिकेय, डीजीएम (एचआर), डॉ अहीर प्रभुनाथ, कार्यकारी(एसजी-राजभाषा) और श्रीमती तब्बासुम खान, कार्यकारी सहायक के अलावा विद्यालयों के प्राचार्य भी उपस्थिति रहे ।
As a part of the Celebration of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,” a programme on “Har Ghar Tiranga” has been organized on 19.07.2022 in EPI, Corporate Office wherein many Sr. Officers and Employees have participated. The programme began with the singing of the “National Anthem”. A brief journey of our National Flag was also displayed in the programme. CMD Shri. D. S. Rana himself also actively participated in this programme and requested all the participants to respect our National Flag inspirit. In conclusion of the programme, he himself presented National Flag to our employees and encouraged them to hoist the National Flags at their homes.

Engine Trial run successfully conducted on 21.06.2022 on the elevated tracks of Maintenance Shed, Khurda MEMU Shed Project, Odisha which is the first rolling of the loco engine on newly laid track(L6) at Khurda MEMU shed. The project is executed by EPI’s Eastern Region. Congratulations to the EPI team posted at Khurda Shed project.

Ganesh Avinash Mishra has been organized in EPI, Corporate Office wherein many employees have participated physically as well as through video conferencing. CMD Shri. D. S. Rana himself also actively participated and encouraged all the participants to do Yoga exercises regularly and get the full benefit from this Yoga Kaaryakram.

Shri DS Rana, CMD-EPI has inaugurated and addressed the session on 04-05-2022 to observe "Cyber Jagrookta Diwas" at EPI. He enforces to increase `Awareness among employees' to prevent themselves from becoming a victim of cybercrime.
The motive of this event to intended to create awareness among employees of EPI about various cyber threats that can impact them and provide some best practices to safeguard themselves against cybercrimes.
