Law is most powerful when it serves as a voice for the marginalized.

We recently hosted a truly insightful special lecture on "Transgender Rights and Law" at Campus Law Centre. A huge thank you to our esteemed speaker, Dr. Somabha Bandopadhyay, for her profound expertise and for shedding light on the legal nuances and lived realities of the transgender community.

This session was a vital step toward sensitizing the legal minds of tomorrow and understanding the gaps between legislation and social justice.

Special thanks to our Patron, Prof. Gunjan Gupta, our FacultyConvenor Prof Jyoti DograSood, and all the Faculty members & students who made this event a resounding success!

Empowering Advocacy: Visit to NCW!

The Legal Aid Society, CLC, successfully conducted an educational visit to the National Commission for Women yesterday. Our students gained vital insights into women's rights and the current legal issues surrounding them.

Special Thanks to our faculty members, Dr. Kirti Yadav, Dr. Prabhat Kumar, and Dr. Hina Iliyas, for accompanying and guiding the students.

A big thank you to the NCW team for their invaluable time and for providing such an impactful learning experience!

INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR VOLUNTEERS FOR THE NCW VISIT

The Legal Aid Society, Campus Law Centre is organizing a visit to the National Commission for Women (NCW) on 10th April 2026, 1:00 pm onwards.

The objective of this visit is to acquaint the students with the functioning of the statutory body entrusted with safeguarding the interests of women, at the national level.

NOTE:
1. The Google form will be activated on 8th April 2026 at 08:00 PM sharp only for 2 hour.
2. Only limited volunteers will be selected on a first-come-first-serve basis and it is only for
registered members of the Legal Aid Society.
3. If any of the selected students do not turn up for the visit, they will be barred from attending any other future events organized by the Legal Aid Society.
4. The above application is open only to the Bonafide students of Campus Law Centre.
5. 40% of the total available seats shall be reserved for female students.

A Milestone at Vigyan Bhawan!

The Legal Aid Society, Campus Law Centre, successfully participated in the National Consultation on Tele-Law Program yesterday at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

Our students had the unique opportunity to engage with national-level discussions on technology-driven legal aid and the future of access to justice in India.
