Prof. Sachin Kumar Sharma, Director General, RIS, on behalf of the RIS family, welcomed two distinguished media professionals into the RIS fraternity as Senior Adjunct Fellows and emphasized the importance of drawing upon their extensive experience in media, communication, and public discourse to further strengthen RISβs engagement with all the relevant stakeholders in India and abroad on issues of global significance.

πππ ππ πππππ πππ πΆπ’ππ‘π’πππ π·ππππππππ¦ ππ π πΆβππππππ πππππ πππππ'. The deliberations highlighted the growing significance of media, strategic communication, and cultural diplomacy in shaping international narratives and advancing soft power in an evolving global landscape.
During the session, Prof. (Dr.) K G Suresh and Mr. Rakesh Khar shared insightful perspectives on the critical role of communication and dialogue in diplomacy, public discourse, and international engagement. The discussions further highlighted the importance of communication strategies in fostering stronger global partnerships and amplifying the voice of the Global South.
