From 22–24 February 2026, Grameen Charcha 2026 brought together tribal leaders, women, and youth from seven states in Bisam Cuttack, Rayagada.

Across three days of dialogue and collective reflection, communities shared experiences of strengthening livelihoods, protecting forests and traditional knowledge, and building resilient village economies.

Flavours, stories and a little friendly competition.

At Grameen Charcha, the cooking competition filled the space with aromas, laughter and the joy of preparing food together as women, men and elders came together to cook and share traditional recipes from their homes and regions.

Every dish carried its own story and a piece of home.

We hold the memory, and we also hold on to the momentum. Rayagada showed us the power of collective dialogue rooted in lived realities. The work has just begun!

Workshops at Grameen Charcha were spaces of real exchange. Across ecology, economy and emotions, indigenous women, youth and elders came together to learn, reflect and speak openly.

From traditional food recipes and herbal medicines to livelihoods, migration realities, digital agency and education, every discussion was rooted in lived experience.

Stories were shared. Knowledge travelled across generations. And the circle felt stronger because of it.
