H.H.Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi Sahaja YogaTrust' referred as National Trust was formulated by and with the blessings of our Divine Mother on April 8, 2005. Our Divine Mother had been its Chairman and after HER, Sir C.P was the Chairman as per the Trust Deed which has blessings and signature of our Divine Mother.
On April 16, 2005 our Divine Mother communicated to all State, City and Centres leaders which, interalia, stated that:
"On 8 April 2005 I have established the 'H.H.Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi Sahaja YogaTrust' the National Trust (a permanent body) which will be responsible for all aspects of Sahaja Yoga in India. All other Trust / Organization that exists currently in different parts of India should now be wound up by transferring their assets to the National Trust."
