Election Newsletter and PM Debate - The Symposium Society The symposium society- also known as the legislative and policy forum of Hindu College- aims to spread awareness about Parliamentary procedures.

The society endeavors to involve more and more students in the decision making and deliberative process. The symposium Society stands for freedom to put forth the opinions and ideas that every individual has, thus creating a platform for public speaking and creating an environment for interactive exchange of ideas. It helps every student in building their consensus and shaping their personality. I

n its pursuit of celebrating democracy and establishing a tradition of active participation by all, the Symposium Society hosts a parliamentary debate for the Prime Ministerial candidates. It gives an opportunity to both the candidates running for the posts of PM of Hindu Parliament to share their vision and goals for the Hindu College with the entire student fraternity. Even the students are benefitted as they hear out both the candidates and solidify their vote. This year the debate is organized on 9th September, Wednesday.

The team at Symposium is humbled after receiving the response in the last two rounds. We're equally overjoyed while opening the third round of registerations in hopes of reaching out to maximum people and provide the opportunity of being a part of HMIP 2018
Some Important details:
The second round will be open till the midnight of 2nd January, 2018
The committee are as follows:-
- Lok Sabha : Review of Anti-Defection Laws in India

- Constituent Assembly of India : Drafting the Executive Powers of the Center and State

- All India Political Party Meet : Changes to IPC with Emphasis on R**e Laws

- Indian National Press
