"Nothing is of greater importance than the conservation of human life."

National Safety Day is observed every year on 4 March by the National Safety Council of India. The purpose of this day is to promote awareness about safety in order to avoid mishaps in workplaces.
The National Safety Council strives to eliminate preventable deaths at work, in homes and communities. To promote its mission, it organises specialised training programmes/courses, conferences, seminars & workshops. Safety should be the priority at workplaces.

“Nurture young minds – Develop safety culture” is the theme for National Safety Day 2022. Remember our safety is in our own hands.

"Wildlife is something which man cannot construct. Once it is gone, it is gone forever." -Joy Adamson.

World Wildlife Day is celebrated every year on March 3 to raise awareness about the conservation of world's flora and fauna as well as to celebrate their beauty. This year, the theme of World Wildlife Day is “Recovering key species for ecosystem restoration”.

Flora and fauna bring out the true beauty of earth and are crucial for a healthy biosphere. They both are linked to one other through food chains.
However, over the last few decades, we can see climate change has emerged as one of the biggest threats to the world's biodiversity. Many species are on the verge of extinction.

So, it's high time that we take action on the changes we are seeing and raise more awareness about the conservation of wildlife. It's our responsibility to care, to respect and restore the Earth.

The date 11th February is marked as the International Day of Women and Girls in science in order to celebrate the contribution of our majestic ladies and their contribution towards scientific advancement.
It's no secret that science and gender equality aren't on the best of terms. Even in the modern day, women are still heavily underrepresented in fields pertaining to science and technology. For centuries, women have struggled to be recognised for their academic achievements. They rarely received it during their lifetime but we are much better off now than we were a mere century ago. And all of it is due to the efforts of the female scientists who pioneered the way in the past.

Samarpan, the NSS team of Sri Aurobindo College (eve), should be trying it’s level best to spread awareness about the importance of women and their multifunctioning brain, the scientific and reasoning brain.
The importance of the feminine point of view in the new inventions and discoveries. Parents, who avoid sending their girls into scientific colleges and studies, should be aware about the achievements and scopes in it. Samarpan can also work on the spreading of less recognised ladies in this field, so that other ladies get motivated and stat to think about expressing their long-suppressed dreams and aspirations.

"Together for a better internet"

Safer Internet Day is observed every year on the 2nd day of the second week of February with the aim of providing a safer and better internet. This year it will be celebrated on 8th February. It promotes a safer and more responsible use of online technology by children and young people all over the world. The first Safer Internet Day took place on February 6th, 2004. It is an opportunity for millions of people around the world to raise awareness of children and young people's online safety and well-being.

The internet is also giving rise to cybercrimes such as hacking, scamming, identity theft, pornography violence, etc. Digital counterfeiting is a great example of the misuse of technology. To avoid this, we should keep our privacy settings on, practice safe browsing, choose strong passwords, and always be careful what you share.
This year Safer internet day will be celebrated with the theme "All fun and games?" Online research into respect and relationships."

It's now our duty to come forward and make people aware of internet safety.

➡️“कैंसर” एक ऐसी बीमारी है जिसे लेकर बहुत सी भ्रांतियां लोगो के मन में देखी जा सकती है। जैसे की कैंसर से पीड़ित व्यत्ति को छूने से भी कैंसर फैलता है, कैंसर का कोई इलाज नहीं है आदि धारणाओं को विश्व स्तर पर बदलने एवं कैंसर के खतरों के बारे में जागरुकता पैदा करने (Awareness About The Dangers Of Cancer ) और इसके लक्षण से लेकर इसके बचाव के बारे में जानकारी देने के लिए यह दिवस मनाया जाता है.
विश्वभर में हर साल ‘4 फरवरी’ को विश्व कैंसर दिवस (World Cancer Day) के रूप मनाया जाता है।⬇️
🏵️थीम– इस वर्ष के विश्व कैंसर दिवस को "क्लोज़ द केयर गैप" (Close The Care Gap ) थीम के साथ मनाएंगे। यह थीम तीन वर्षों (2022-24) तक रहेगी। 'क्लोज द केयर गैप' पहल का पहला वर्ष दुनियाभर में कैंसर देखभाल, असमानताओं की पहचान करने और उनका आकलन करने के लिए समर्पित है. ⬇️
🌼हम सभी NSS वॉलंटियर्स को खुद जागरूक बन और सभी को जागरूक करने की कोशिश करनी चाहिए। हम अपने आसपास व सोशल मीडिया के ज़रिए लोगो में कैंसर को लेकर जो उलझने है, जो सवाल है उन्हे हल करने की कोशिश कर सकते है। कैंसर पीड़ित व्यक्ति के साथ विनम्र बर्ताव, उनकी देखभाल व उनका सही इलाज हो सके इसकी पूरी कोशिश करनी चाहिए। सभी गलत अवधारणाओं को समाप्त करने के लिए मिलकर 🤝 कदम बढ़ाने की अवश्यकता है।

World Wetlands Day is commerated every year on 2nd February. The Convention of Wetlands (Ramasar Convention) was adopted on this day in 1971. This day promotes awareness about the importance of wetlands and their conservation.

Wetlands play a crucial role for both humans and wildlife. Wetlands sustain a wide range of biodiversity and helps to maintain ecosystem productivity. However, wetlands are vanishing at a quicker rate than forests. Loss of wetlands will eventually result in loss of livelihood and deepening of poverty.

"Wetlands Actions for People and Nature" is the theme of World Wetlands Day 2022. This emphasises the importance of taking actions to protect wetlands for humanity and the environment.
It is now our responsibilty to increase awareness about wetland loss and encourage more people to conserve wetlands by using them sustainably.

भारत में गणतंत्र दिवस हर वर्ष 26 जनवरी को मनाया जाता है। जैसा की आप सभी को पता है भारत देश को आजादी 15 अगस्त 1947 को मिली लेकिन उस समय हमारा संविधान लागू नहीं हुआ था और 26 जनवरी 1950 को ही हमारा संविधान लागू किया गया और इसी दिन भारत एक संप्रभु, लोकतांत्रिक गणराज्य बना इसलिए गणतंत्र दिवस मनाया जाता है।
31 दिसंबर 1930 को पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू ने रावी नदी के तट पर धरने पर आते हुए पूर्ण स्वाधीनता दिवस 26 जनवरी को मनाने की घोषणा की। जिस कारण इस दिन का महत्व और ज्यादा बढ़ जाता है।
सारनाथ में बने अशोक स्तंभ को भारत का राष्ट्रीय चिन्ह भी 26 जनवरी 1950 को ही घोषित किया गया।

हर वर्ष परेड, सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम, विद्यालयों में भाषण और मिठाइयां बांटकर गणतंत्र दिवस मनाया जाता है। गणतंत्र दिवस के मौके पर जो परेड होती है वह विजय पथ से शुरू होकर इंडिया गेट तक चलती है जिसमें तीनों सेनाएं राष्ट्रपति को 21 तोपों की सलामी देती है जिसमें सात तोपों से तीन राउंड फायरिंग की जाती है और अपने हथियारों के साथ शौर्य प्रदर्शन करती है।तरह तरह की झांकियां पेश की जाती है जो की सांस्कृतिक एकता को दर्शाती है।
गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह 3 दिन तक चलता है। 29 जनवरी को विजय चौक पर “बीटिंग रिट्रीट सेरेमनी” का आयोजन करके गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह का समापन किया जाता है।

हमें खुश होना चाहिए की हमने एक गणतंत्र देश में जन्म लिया और इस खूबसूरत देश के हम नागरिक है। 🇮🇳🏵️🌸♥️

Indian rivers are depleting at a very fast rate so as the forests, the one way to save Indian rivers is to plant trees near rivers which also can conserve Indian forests, so supporting this idea of rivers and forests conservation we have created a small video. So please do support us in this movement by sharing this video as much as you can.

IRSC SAC - Eve. chapter Conducted a public awareness survey at Shivalik, Malviya Nagar. They mainly covered School students, college students and the shopkeepers because these are the one's who witness road issues at regular basis. The survey was divided in two phases, first one was about 'what road issues do they really face?' and the next one was 'Are they really aware of traffic rules'. for more info check out the video!!
