Expanding distributed photovoltaic (DPV) will help reduce the carbon footprint of power generation in South Asia, empower citizens across the socio-economic spectrum, and expand local photovoltaic markets. ’s Anurag Mishra, Senior Clean Energy Specialist, shared his expertise at today’s webinar on expanding grid connected distributed solar energy through South Asia. The webinar, hosted jointly by ’s Asia Regional Energy Hub (SAREH), -india -d, and , focused on scaling the deployment of DPV technologies throughout the region and looked with a solution-oriented eye at challenges such as grid reliability, regulatory frameworks, energy storage, design safety, procurement, and installation.
