The 9th Northeast Youth Festival from 17th to 22nd March, 2026 at Chumoukedima, Nagaland saw participation of approximately 1300 delegates, including youth participants, My Bharat and NSS representatives from across the northeastern region and other parts of the country. The event featured a range of competitive and non-competitive cultural programmes, youth conventions, life skill activities, adventure programmes, and thematic events under the theme, " Ashtalakshmi: Celebrating Eight Forces of Youth and Progress." After completion of the programme, the NSS team from W.R.Govt. College, Deomali visited the Science Centre and Ancient Gate, Dimapur ( Nagaland) to refresh the mind.

The NSS Unit, Wangcha Rajkumar Government College, Deomali widely recognized for its innovative initiatives rooted in the motto, " Not Me But You" continues to shine in promoting personality development through community service. This vision was reaffirmed during the State Level Round of the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament-2026 held at the Arunachal Pradesh State Legislative Assembly, when Miss Esha Kumari Sah and Mr. Toawang Atoa delivered outstanding performances and secured the 2nd and 3rd positions on 23rd March, 2026. The debate was centred on the theme, "Union Budget 2026: Strengthening the Indian Youth's Path Towards Viksit Bharat 2047", encouraging participants to critically analyze the role of fiscal policy in empowering youth and shaping India's developmental trajectory. The achievement of young minds reflects not only individual excellence but also the strong academic foundation and vibrant intellectual environment fostered by Wangcha Rajkumar Government College, Deomali.

May his zeal and enthusiasm for the NSS Unit inspire other volunteers to develop their personality through community services. The NSS Unit, Wangcha Rajkumar Government College, Deomali filled with energy, enthusiasm celebrated the 79th Independence Day in the College premises and NSS Office on 15th August, 2025. The patriotic song with musical beats of the guitar vibrated in the hearts of every volunteer and student present on the occasion. Jai Hind!

Celebrated Ambedkar Jayanti in a meaningful manner by organizing padyatra from College campus to the APP Gate,Deomali, reading of the preamble, skit display with a theme, "Wake Up Bharat" and a patriotic song on 14th April, 2025. Over 66 NSS volunteers, Dr. Watsen Bangsia, Principal, WRGC,Deomali,Mr. Ngamwang Lowang, Programme Officer, NSS Unit, police personnel and Shri. Jahang Khutsia, Office Staff, WRGC enthusiastically participated in the event organized under the banner of My Bharat.
The whole programme was beautifully animated by NSS Captains including Mr. Janglin Lamra, Mr. Hanglian Nokbi, Mr. Wangnye Lowang, Miss. Nehang Sawin and Miss. Chajian Anna.
