The BJP 54 Namsang Mandal proudly participated in the grand Tiranga Rally held at Deomali on 13th August 2026, as part of the “Har Ghar Tiranga – Aazadi Ka Utsav” campaign and Independence Day celebrations.

The rally was flagged off by the Hon’ble Minister, Shri Wangki Lowang Ji, whose gracious presence and participation further inspired the gathering. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the BJP District Team, BJP 54 Namsang Mandal karyakartas, Mandal office bearers, Morcha Heads, HoDs, students, youth, citizens and Tirap Riders, who came together to celebrate patriotism, national unity and pride in the Tricolour.

The participation of Tirap Riders added energy and vibrancy to the rally, while the inspiring performance by the band troupe from Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar further elevated the patriotic atmosphere.

One of the major highlights was the magnificent 150-metre-long National Flag, carried with pride by students and participants from the Deomali General Ground towards the NCI Bridge. The sight of hundreds of people marching together with the Tricolour created a powerful expression of unity, patriotism and love for the nation.

The Tiranga Yatra also commemorated 150 years of our national song, “Vande Mataram,” reminding us of our shared national identity, the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and our collective responsibility towards the nation.

The rally proceeded towards Mopaya, where the programme concluded with a lunch hosted by the Hon’ble Minister Shri Wangki Lowang Ji for the participants. The gathering at Mopaya provided an opportunity for everyone to come together and conclude the celebration in a warm and joyful spirit.

The enthusiastic participation of the BJP District Team, BJP 54 Namsang Mandal and the people of Deomali made the occasion truly memorable and reflected the strong spirit of patriotism, unity and national pride.

```Monthly Mandal Baithak & Observation of the 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee```

As per the directions of the National and State BJP offices, the monthly Mandal Baithak of BJP 54-Namsang Mandal was successfully held on 6 July 2026 at the Mandal Office. The programme was led by Mandal President *Shri Kubang Alok Ji* and attended by Mandal Office Bearers, Mahila Morcha members, Morcha office bearers, and Dedicated party karyakartas.

The meeting began with the observance of the 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. Floral tributes were offered to his portrait, and party leaders paid homage to the great nationalist by remembering his invaluable contributions to nation-building, national unity, and the founding of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh. Speakers highlighted his vision and ideals, inspiring party workers to dedicate themselves to the service of the nation.

Following the tribute programme, the monthly Mandal Baithak was held to review the organisational activities of the previous month and discuss upcoming party programmes. Emphasis was laid on strengthening the party organisation at the booth and Mandal levels and ensuring the effective implementation of organisational activities as per the directions of the National and State leadership.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, with all members reaffirming their commitment to strengthening the organisation and serving the people with dedication and unity.

OBSERVED BLACK DAY (SAMVIDHAN HATYA DIWAS)

On 25 June 2026, BJP 54 Namsang Mandal observed Black Day (Samvidhan Hatya Diwas) at the BJP 54 Namsang Mandal Office, Deomali, Tirap District.

During the programme, Shri Tarun Thingnok, President of Kisan Morcha, Tirap District, and Shri Tasin Songthing, General Secretary of BJP 54 Namsang Mandal, addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of observing the day as a reminder of the challenges faced by democracy during the Emergency period.

The programme was attended by Mandal Office Bearers (MOBs), and active BJP karyakartas, who participated in the observance and expressed their commitment to upholding democratic values and constitutional principles.

```Balidan Diwas Observed by BJP 54-Namsang Mandal```

Deomali, June 23, 2026:
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) 54-Namsang Mandal observed 73rd Balidan Diwas to pay tribute to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Ji, the founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, the ideological foundation of the BJP.

The programme was attended by the District Vice President, District Mahila President, District Kisan Morcha President, District Secretary, along with Mandal Office Bearers, Mandal Morcha Heads, BLC Members, and Senior Party Karyakartas at the BJP Mandal Office, Deomali. A portrait of Dr. Mukherjee Ji was garlanded, and candles were lit as a mark of respect and remembrance.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by Mandal Mahila President Smt. Khonya Aboh Ji.

During the programme, District Vice President Shri Aphong Khoisia Ji, Mandal President Shri Kubang Alok Ji, and ZPM Deomali Smt. Yalik Lowang Ji addressed the gathering and highlighted Dr. Mukherjee Ji’s contribution, his commitment towards national integration, and his stand on Article 370.

Deomali, 21/06/2026: Along with the rest of the country, BJP 54-Namsang Mandal celebrated International Yoga Day at WRG College Auditorium, Deomali, in collaboration with Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti and General Administration Deomali.

The yoga session was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Minister Shri Wangki Lowang Ji, Minister for Environment, Forest, Mining, Geology and DOCTL., BJP District team was also present along with ADC Deomali, AC Deomali, ZPM Deomali, HoDs, Arun Jyoti karyakartas, BJP Mandal team, and citizens of Deomali township.

And the programme was organised under the guidance of Mandal President Shri Kubang Alok Ji.

Celebrating International Yoga Day 2026 with the theme ```“Yoga for Healthy Ageing”```, the programme highlighted that yoga is not limited to physical exercise but is a path towards balance of body, mind, and soul. ```Report on Jan Kalyan Shivir Organised by BJP 54-Namsang Mandal```

BJP 54-Namsang Mandal (ST) Assembly Constituency successfully organised a Jan Kalyan Shivir at Namsang village on 20/06/2026 with a special focus on promoting natural farming and creating awareness about various public welfare schemes.

The programme was led by Mandal President Shri Kubang Alok Ji.

The Shivir was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Minister Shri Wangki Lowang Ji, Forest Minister, along with ADC Deomali, AC Deomali, ZPM Deomali, various HODs, BJP office bearers, Morcha heads, BLC members and senior party karyakartas.

Various departments participated in the Shivir and provided awareness on different schemes and initiatives. ADO Deomali and HDO Deomali explained various methods of multiple cropping, sustainable farming practices, soil health card, preparation of organic pesticides and emphasised the importance of natural farming in line with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

The Medical Department highlighted the benefits of Ayushman Bharat and conducted free health check-ups for villagers. Awareness was also created regarding various welfare schemes including PM Surya Ghar, PM SVANidhi, Lakhpati Didis, VB-G-RAM-G and other government initiatives.

Additionally, LLINs were distributed by Hon’ble Minister Shri Wangki Lowang Ji to the villagers.

The Jan Kalyan Shivir, organised on the lines of “Seva Aapke Dwar”, reflected the commitment towards public service and Commemorate 12 years of trust, development and public welfare under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
