The IGP (Training & Armed Police), Assam, visited the Academy and attended the 10 km road run with the trainees. Thereafter he interacted with the officers and other trainees.

During the session, he briefed them on the upcoming Legislative Assembly Election and outlined the responsibilities expected from them during election duty. As this will be their first exposure to election deployment, he emphasized the importance of neutrality, discipline, professionalism, and strict adherence to the Model Code of Conduct.

He encouraged the officers to uphold the highest standards of integrity and preparedness to ensure peaceful, free, and fair elections.

The Passing Out Parade at Lachit Barphukan Police Academy wasn’t just a ceremony—it was a celebration of unwavering dedication, discipline, and the promise of service. To all the Goa Police recruits: today you stand ready to protect and serve with honour.

We were truly blessed to have had the presence and blessings of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant, and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, to grace this momentous occasion  .
