On the auspicious occasion of the full moon (Purnima Tithi) during the *Shukla Paksha* of the month of *Baishakh*, an artist established a magnificent harmony with the waves of the holy river. As part of an innovative initiative by the District Administration, the "Ghat Sandhya" program held on Friday featured a performance by the rising artist Aditri Singh, from Grade V Gopal Krishna Gokhale, RPS Public School, Dharuhera who had arrived from Delhi. She commenced her performanceтАФshowcasing the renowned Kathak dance form of North IndiaтАФwith a *Shiv Stuti* (hymn to Lord Shiva) titled "Namami Shamishan." This was followed by a pure Kathak recital incorporating elements such as *Teentaal*, *Toda*, *Uthan*, *Amad*, *Thaath*, *Tihai*, and *Tatkar*. She concluded her performance with a *Thumri* titled "Chhedo Chhedo Ji Bihari." Through her mastery of footwork, rhythm, tempo, body movements, and the melodious jingle of her ankle bells, the artist completely mesmerized the hearts of the audience. The artist was presented with a certificate by Shyam Keshari and Kavya, a young Kathak artist visiting from Argentina. The program was coordinated by Dr. Ratnesh Verma, the Secretary and Founder of "Subah-e-Banaras," while the proceedings were successfully anchored by Seema Keshari. A large number of spectators were present on this occasion, including Dr. Kavita Pandey, Aarti Madhuri, and Devi Prasad Singh.
