“AKHOL” -An initiative towards women empowerment through Market Linkage.

An exclusive showroom namely "Parijat Enterprise”, Parijat Nursery and a brand namely "Akhol" for selling of women self-help group members products. under Monikanchan CLF BMMU Bordoloni, Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission has been launched today in presence of Honourable Minster GOA Sir, Honorable DC Dhemaji Ankur Bharali Sir & district officials from ASRLM. 34 no of products starting from Assamese Handloom, Jewellery, Handicraft,Hand Made Gamusa, Water Hyacinth products ,Rice Products, Different Pitha & Laru were displayed for selling at the retail mart, Food Stall & Cottage.

The launch of this exclusive showroom, Nursery and Food court for self-help group members in
BMMU Bordoloni is a significant development for women empowerment. It will not only benefit the
local artisans but also promote the unique Assamese culture, Heritage and craftsmanship.

Now the SHG members of BMMU Bordoloni can sell their products through the exclusive Showroom.
