A Pashu Swasthya Shibir was successfully organised at Adabari GP on 12.03.2026, where the farmers were made aware about the care and management of livestock, importance of animal tagging and registration and correction of Aadhar in the Bharat Pashudhan App. The importance of timely vaccination and deworming of the livestock, artificial insemination (using both conventional and sex-sorted semen) and other departmental activities were discussed precisely with the farmers. Along with that, treatment was given to 172 no.s of cattle, 76 no.s of goats and 202 no.s of poultry, and L*D vaccination was also given to 93 no.s of cattle.

An awareness camp on artificial insemination under Rashtriya Gokul Mission (RGM) and Assam Livestock Development Agency (ALDA) was organised by Dr. Jyotimalita Roy, BVO, BVD, Kachakhana, on 21/01/2026 at South Kachakhana village, where the importance and benefits of artificial insemination (using conventional and sex-sorted semen) were discussed among the farmers. The queries of the farmers related to artificial insemination and other veterinary activities were addressed successfully. Along with that, treatment and medicine distribution were also done. Thanks to Dr. Pallab Medhi, MVO, MVU, Golakganj, and Mamoni Adhikary, President, Kachakhana GP, for their active participation and support in organising the camp.

Dispensary, Dhubri (P) was Invited as Resource Person in an awareness program on "Safe Conduct Around Animals and First Aid Post Dog Bite" organized by Medical Cell, B.N.College (Autonomous), Dhubri on 13th Dec, 2025. She explained Rabies - a deadly disease that can affect human and animals. She included transmission and preventive measures of Rabies in her lecture which will be very beneficial in creating awareness among public and elimination of Rabies from the society.
