This spot has been identified at Duliajan Digboi Road under Digboi MB Jurisdiction. From the picture it is evident that drug shop/shops are openly dumping their waste at that spot. Municipal teams have been deployed to identify the culprit. If caught the name of the shop will be made public and will be imposed fine heavily as per Municipal law.

On account of Swachhata Hi Seva 2025, Digboi Municipal Board conducted Shraamdan activity today dated 25th Sept, in presence of our Chief Guest Hon'ble MLA Sir, Sri Suren Phukan. Under the leadership of Chairman involving Vice chairperson, Executive Officer, Urban Technical Officer, City project Officer ,
office staff , SHG s ladies & municipal Safaimitras in the event . A Swachhata pledge has been taken by all before start of the event. MLA Sir delivered a valuable speech on Swachhata and practice of cleanliness by all in day to day life . Along with this, a last tribute was also paid to legendary artist Lt Zubeen Garg today with 1 minute mourn by all members participated in the event.

ডিগবৈ চহৰৰ সমূহ দূৰ্গা পূজা সমিতিৰ সভাপতি/সম্পাদকক ইয়াৰদ্বাৰাই জনোৱা হ’ল যে আগন্তুক দূৰ্গা পূজাত অসম চৰকাৰৰদ্বাৰা জাৰি কৰা নিম্নলিখিত নিৰ্দেশাৱলীসমূহ কঠোৰভাৱে পালন কৰিব লাগিব।

নিৰ্দেশাৱলীসমূহ:

1. পূজা মণ্ডপৰ সাজসজ্জা আৰু অন্যান্য পূজা-সংক্রান্ত কাৰ্য্যত কেৱল প্ৰাকৃতিক আৰু পৰিৱেশ-অনুকুল সামগ্ৰী ব্যৱহাৰ কৰিব লাগিব। থাৰ্ম’ক’ল, পলিথিন আদি প্লাষ্টিকৰ সামগ্ৰী ব্যৱহাৰ নিষিদ্ধ থাকিব।
2. বিগ্ৰহৰ বাবে কেৱল প্ৰাকৃতিক ফুলৰ মালাহে ব্যৱহাৰ কৰিব পাৰিব। প্লাষ্টিকৰ মালা নিষিদ্ধ থাকিব ।
3. পূজা প্ৰাঙ্গণত দুটা ডাষ্টবিন (এটা ভিজা আবৰ্জনা আৰু এটা শুকান আবৰ্জনা) ৰাখিব লাগিব। দুয়োটাত স্পষ্টকৈ "DRY" আৰু "WET" বুলি লিখা থাকিব লাগিব।
4. পূজা মণ্ডপৰ ভিতৰত আৰু বাহিৰত কোনো ধৰণৰ প্লাষ্টিকৰ সামগ্ৰী ব্যৱহাৰ কৰিব নোৱাৰিৱ।
5. পানী পৰিবেশ-অনুকুল পদ্ধতিত ব্যৱস্থা কৰিব লাগিব। প্লাষ্টিকৰ পানী বটল নিষিদ্ধ কৰা হৈছে।
6. প্ৰসাদ/ভোগ ইত্যাদি কাগজৰ থালী, কাগজৰ বাটি, কাগজৰ গ্লাছ, কলপাত আদিত ব্যৱহাৰ কৰিব লাগিব।
7. পূজা মণ্ডপত এবাৰ ব্যৱহাৰযোগ্য প্লাষ্টিকৰ বিৰূদ্ধে নিষেধাজ্ঞা থকা বোর্ড/হ'ৰ্ডিং প্ৰদৰ্শন কৰিব লাগিব।
8. পূজা মণ্ডপত যাতে কোনোধৰণৰ অপ্ৰিতিকৰ পৰিস্থিতিৰ সৃষ্টি নহয় সেইটো পূজা কমিটিয়ে ধ্যান ৰাখিব লাগিব ।
9. উপৰিউক্ত নিৰ্দেশাৱলী সমূহৰ উপৰিও, প্ৰতিটো পূজা মণ্ডপতে হিয়াৰ আমঠু প্ৰয়াত জুবিন গাৰ্গৰ স্মৃতিত এটা পৃথক শোক শ্ৰদ্ধাঞ্জলিৰ স্থান ৰাখিব লাগিব। এই স্থানত তেওঁৰ স্মৃতিত উৎসৰ্গিত শ্ৰদ্ধা জ্ঞাপন কৰা হ'ব ।
10. সকলো পূজা সমিতিকে পূজা মণ্ডপত মাত্ৰ ধৰ্ম্মমূলক নতুবা প্ৰয়াত জুবিন গাৰ্গৰ গানহে বজাব পাৰিব ।
11. তদুপৰি ডিগবৈ সম-জিলাৰ কাৰ্য্যালয়ৰ তৰফৰ পৰা যিসমূহ নীতি-নিৰ্দেশনা বাধ্যতামূলক কৰা হৈছে, সেইসমূহো সূচাৰু ৰুপে পালন কৰিবলৈ জনোৱা হ’ল ।

সকলো পূজা সমিতিকে এই নিৰ্দেশাৱলীসমূহ পালন কৰি পৰিৱেশ-অনুকুল ৰূপে পূজা আয়োজন কৰিবলৈ অনুৰোধ জনোৱা হ’ল । সৰ্বশ্ৰেষ্ঠ "প্লাষ্টিক-মুক্ত দূৰ্গা পূজা" আয়োজন কৰা সমিতিক বিশেষ বঁটা প্ৰদান কৰা হ'ব।যোগাযোগৰ বাবে : শ্ৰীৰাজেশ বৰুৱা, সহকাৰী স্থপতি, ডিগবৈ পৌৰসভা। (ফোন নং: 7002184291) ।
