The operations resulted in the seizure of 10.891 kg of Brown Sugar worth approximately ₹80 crore and 14,000 Yaba tablets worth approximately ₹2.5 crore, along with the apprehension of six individuals.

The successful operations underscore the effectiveness of inter-agency coordination and the unwavering resolve of **es to disrupt narcotics networks, deny illicit trafficking routes and safeguard the Northeast from the menace of drugs.

Recognising the invaluable service and sacrifices of those who served the Nation, the 24th Annual Meeting of the Rajya Sainik Board & State Managing Committee of the Special Fund for Relief & Rehabilitation of Ex-Servicemen was held at Lok Bhavan, Kohima, . Presided over by the Hon’ble Governor of Nagaland, Shri Nand Kishore Yadav, the meeting was attended by IG, IGAR (North), along with senior Armed Forces and civil administration officials. Intelligence-based joint operations launched from 01 to 31 August 2026 by and **es formations under in coordination with State Police and civil agencies across Churachandpur, Senapati and Kamjong districts of , Cachar, and Sribhumi districts of and Aizawl and Champhai districts of resulted in the recovery of narcotics and contraband worth over ₹300 crore including 1.32 kg He**in No. 4, 7.7 lakh Yaba/Methamphetamine tablets, 13.23 kg O***m, 8.22 kg Morphine, 360 grams of Brown Sugar, 11,630 kg poppy seeds, 4.5 lakh cigarette sticks and ₹75.025 lakh in unaccounted cash.
