ADG Armed J&K Visits IRP–5th Battalion Headquarters, Beoli, Doda

ADG Armed J&K Shri Anand Jain- IPS, along with DIG IR Jammu Dr. Vinod Kumar-IPS, and SO to ADG Shri Dalip Kumar-JKPS, visited IRP 5th Battalion Headquarters at Beoli, Doda.

During the visit, ADG Armed J&K Shri Anand Jain-IPS, first visited B-Coy of IRP 5th Battalion located at DPL, Doda, where a detailed inspection of the Coy was carried out and operational preparedness as well as welfare measures were reviewed.

Upon arrival at Battalion Headquarters, ADG Armed J&K Shri Anand Jain- IPS, and Deputy Commissioner Doda Shri Harvinder Singh- IAS, jointly inaugurated the macadamization of the road also the newly constructed barrack building for jawans and the Dry and Wet Canteen facilities were inaugurated by cutting the ribbon in the presence of DIG IR Jammu Dr. Vinod Kumar - IPS, SO to ADG Shri Dalip Kumar-JKPS, and Commandant IRP 5th Battalion Shri Ifroz Ahmad, JKPS.

The ADG Armed J&K was accorded a Guard of Honour at Battalion Headquarters, IRP 5th Battalion, Doda. After the ceremonial proceedings, floral tribute was paid at the Shaheed Smarak and Shradhanjali was offered to the martyrs of IRP 5th Battalion.

Later, a Darbar of officers and jawans was addressed, wherein emphasis was laid on performing duties with sincerity, dedication, and discipline..

ADG Armed J&K Shri Anand Jain- IPS, felicitated Head Constable Mohd Amin Bhat (Belt No. 09/IRV) on his superannuation with a retirement gift, commended his dedicated service throughout his tenure, and conveyed best wishes for a happy, healthy, and fulfilling next chapter of life.

During the inspection of various sections at the Battalion Headquarters, special emphasis was laid on the effective use of the e-Office system, and officers and staff were encouraged to adopt digital platforms to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability in official functioning.

The visit concluded with interactions aimed at strengthening administrative efficiency, improving police personnel welfare, and promoting modernization in office functioning.

*77th Republic Day was celebrated at Battalion Headquarters IRP-5th Battalion Beoli Doda*.

On this occasion, the National Flag was unfurled by Commandant, IRP 5th Bn. Shri Ifroz Ahmad -JKPS, in the presence of Dy. Co. IRP 5th Battalion Shri Ashish Gupta -JKPS, Inspector Muzaffar Ahmad (OSI), Inspector (M) Abdul Hamid, along with other officers and officials.
Republic Day greetings were conveyed to all, and respectful tribute was paid to the martyrs, remembering their supreme sacrifices in the service of the nation.
On the occasion, officers and officials also reaffirmed their commitment to uphold the Constitution, unity, and integrity of the nation.
As part of the celebrations, sweets were distributed among the police personnel.
The programme concluded smoothly in a disciplined manner, reflecting unity, professionalism, and continued commitment to duty and service of the nation.

National Voters’ Day pledge ceremony conducted today at Battalion Headquarters and Company Headquarters of IRP 5th Battalion.

During the ceremony, officers and officials of IRP 5th Battalion took the National Voters’ Day Pledge, reaffirming their faith in democracy and their commitment to uphold the democratic traditions and constitutional values of the nation.

The pledge focused on the importance of free, fair, and peaceful elections and the duty to vote in every election fearlessly and without influence of religion, race, caste, community, or language.

The initiative was conducted to promote democratic values and electoral awareness.

A pipping ceremony was held at Headquarters IRP 5th Battalion, Doda, to Honour the recently promoted Constables who have been elevated to the rank of Selection Grade Constable (SGCT).
The promoted police personnel were decorated with their new ranks by Shri Ifroz Ahmad-SSP (JKPS), Commandant, IRP 5th Battalion, along with, Inspector Shri Muzaffar Ahmad (OSI), ASI Farooq Ahmad, ASI Farooq Ahmad, and other officers /officials of the Battalion.
Commandant Shri Ifroz Ahmad- JKPS expressed his happiness and satisfaction over their well-deserved promotions.

Farewell ceremony organized today 31-12-2025 In-connection with the retirement of (03) Police Personnel of IRP 5th Battalion.

ASI Jaswant Singh (PID No. ARP-871810) retired from active service upon attaining the age of superannuation, Head Constable Farooq Ahmad (No. 80/IRP-5th Battalion) proceeded on voluntary retirement, while Head Constable Youg Raj (PID No. ARP-922427) also retired from service today on attaining the age of superannuation.

The farewell ceremony in respect of ASI Jaswant Singh and Head Constable Farooq Ahmad was organized at Headquarters, IRP 5TH Bn. Beoli, Doda, and was chaired by the Commandant, IRP 5th Battalion, Shri Ifroz Ahmad - JKPS.
The ceremony was attended by OSI/Insp. Muzaffar Ahmad, Coy Commander IRP 5th Bn., Insp. Irshad Ahmad, along with other officers and officials of the Battalion.

Farewell ceremony in honour of Head Constable Youg Raj was organized at D Coy, Gondoh, where he was presently posted.

In recognition of their sincerity, professionalism, and exemplary contributions to the organization, a goodwill gift amounting to Rs. 1.00 lakh each was handed over to the retiring officer and officials.

While addressing the Commandant IRP 5TH Bn. and other officers placed on record their appreciation for the valuable services rendered by the retirees during their tenure and expressed sincere hope that they enjoy good health, peace, and happiness in the years ahead, assuring them of continued goodwill and support whenever required

Today on 31st October 2025,

IRP 5th Battalion Beoli, Doda conducted “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas” (National Unity Day) to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.

On this occasion, a Pledge Parade was organized at the Battalion Headquarters, where officers and officials of the Battalion participated with great enthusiasm and national spirit.
During the event, the significance of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas was highlighted, emphasizing the role of unity and integrity in strengthening the nation.
The event concluded with a renewed sense of patriotism and dedication towards the ideals of national integration and harmony.
