We are committed to the betterment of the society in every small way we can. We can undertake any social cause which helps in the upliftment of different segments of the society.

🌈 Urjaa Foundation has now reached its 82nd Plastic waste Collection drive which will be on Sunday , 7th June ,2026.

👉All the three drives Plastic , Clothes, EWaste and collection of various items for Goonj to help people will be conducted @ Thane and @ Dombivli. between 10 am to 11.30am.

♻️ 👉The collected Pastic waste will be sent for recycling.

👉👚👕📚📒The collected usable Clothes, Toys, Story Books, school material, stationery, usable office material, household material , unused one side papers should be in usable conditions , things should be packed properly in a bags and the same should be given. The collected items will be sent to “Goonj”

👉🖥️📲💻 Collection of E-waste will be sent to “Threco” Unit of Company for recycling.

🌈 Last Project of the Year-In March 2026, Urjaa Foundation concluded the year’s activities by distributing sanitary pads to 745 girl students across 9 schools in Palghar and Thane districts.

🙏Urjaa Foundation has established 10 libraries with CSR support.
👉The latest two, at Bhakti Sangam Vidyalaya and
👉Adarsh Vidyamandir (both in Shahpur)
📚📚With teachers’ help, we transformed separate classrooms into vibrant reading spaces—painted with colors and pictures, equipped with steel cupboards, 79 storybooks each, 4 tables, and 10 chairs.

सर्व जेव्हा एकत्रित उपक्रम करतात आणि कार्याद्वारे संदेश पोहचवण्याचा प्रयत्न करतात.🙏
जलदिंडी:
पर्यावरण दक्षता मंडळ, विवेकानंद सेवा मंडळ (स्वच्छ डोंबिवली अभियान), ऊर्जा फाउंडेशन, श्री लक्ष्मीनारायण संस्था आणि लायन्स क्लब ऑफ डोंबिवली यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने २२ मार्च जागतिक जल दिनानिमित्त दि. २३ मार्च २०२६ रोजी डोंबिवली (पश्चिम) येथे पाण्याचे महत्त्व आणि योग्य वापर याविषयी जनजागृती करण्यासाठी भव्य जलदिंडीचे आयोजन करण्यात आले. या जलदिंडीमध्ये सरस्वती विद्यालय, गावदेवी विद्यामंदिर आणि CMS इंग्लिश स्कूल (डोंबिवली पश्चिम) या शाळांचा उत्स्फूर्त सहभाग लाभला.
सकाळी ८.०० ते ९.०० या वेळेत पार पडलेल्या या जलदिंडीमध्ये सुमारे २०० हून अधिक विद्यार्थी, शिक्षक तसेच स्थानिक संस्थांचे प्रतिनिधी उत्साहाने सहभागी झाले. जलदिंडीची सुरुवात 3 शाळांमधून करण्यात आली, जल दिंडीचे मार्गक्रमण निवासी भागातून करण्यात आले होते, ज्यामुळे स्थानिक नागरिकांमध्ये पाणी संवर्धनाबाबत थेट जनजागृती घडवून आणता आली. विद्यार्थ्यांनी घोषवाक्ये, फलक आणि जनजागृती संदेशांच्या माध्यमातून पाणी संवर्धनाचा संदेश प्रभावीपणे जनतेपर्यंत पोहोचवला. सर्व शाळांमधून निघालेल्या जलदिंडीचा समारोप एकत्रितरीत्या आनंदनगर उद्यान येथे पार पडला. या प्रसंगी पुंडलिक म्हात्रे फाउंडेशन यांचे विशेष सहकार्य लाभले. समारोप कार्यक्रमाला आयोजक संस्थांचे प्रतिनिधींसह उद्यान विभागाचे श्री. महेश देशपांडे, फाउंडेशनचे श्री. राजेंद्र धात्रक उपस्थित होते.
समारोपावेळी पर्यावरण दक्षता मंडळाच्या सौ. रूपाली शाईवाले यांनी जागतिक पाणी दिनाचे महत्त्व उपस्थितांना समजावून सांगितले. त्यानंतर संस्थांच्या सदस्यांनी प्रभावी भारूड सादर करून पाणी संवर्धनाचा संदेश दिला. कार्यक्रमाचा शेवट विवेकानंद सेवा मंडळाचे श्री. अनिल मोकल यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली सर्व उपस्थितांकडून जलप्रतिज्ञा घेऊन करण्यात आला. या उपक्रमाद्वारे पाणी संवर्धनाचे महत्त्व अधोरेखित करण्यात आले तसेच पाणी वाचवणे ही आपली सामूहिक जबाबदारी आहे हा संदेश नागरिकांपर्यंत प्रभावीपणे पोहोचवण्यात यश मिळाले.

🙏 We’re incredibly proud to share that Urjaa Foundation organised an E-waste collection drive on Friday 20th Mar 26.

👩‍🎓👨‍🎓For the Students of Joshi Bedekar College , Thane where the Students of Geography department participated with great enthusiasm and submitted 371 Kgs of
E-waste for Recycling.

📱🧑‍💻📺🖨️🖥️🖲️From old mobile phones and chargers to TV, monitors, laptops and electronic accessories, students came forward in large numbers to responsibly dispose of their e-waste.

🤝Together we have taken a meaningful step towards reducing environmental harm and promoting sustainable habits.

🌈 We extend our heartfelt thanks to the college teachers who encouraged and supported the students in participating for this drive. By instilling such meaningful habits, the college is creating a lasting impact that goes far beyond the classroom.

🙏 Thank you for being role models and driving positive change in our community.

♻️80th Collection Drive by Urjaa Foundation was held on Sunday 1st March 2026 @ Thane and Dombivali. Both the drives witnessed a good response from citizens.
👉Urjaa Foundation through its drives promotes Environment Care.
We have been creating awareness for reducing the use of Plastic and promoting Plastic recycling.
“Be the change : Go Plastic-Free.”
👉Recycling e waste to prevent toxic leakage into the environment.
👉 Recycling clothes and other reusable items by sending them to Goonj a NGO which has a unique "Cloth for Work" model, where rural communities receive clothes in exchange for undertaking local development projects.
