On the occasion of , women workers and commuters were felicitated at Ghamroz Toll Plaza on the Gurugram–Sohna section of NH-48, acknowledging their contribution and presence on India’s National Highways.

The initiative was undertaken as a gesture of appreciation and respect for women, celebrating their role across various walks of life. Similar activities are also being carried out at other toll plazas across the National Highway network.

As part of the 37th National Road Safety Month and the national theme “Road Safety – Life Safety,” a road safety awareness campaign was organized through street plays under the Haryana HAM Projects at PIU Rewari.

The campaign focused on promoting:
1. Mandatory use of helmets and seatbelts
2. Safe speed and responsible overtaking
3. Zero tolerance for drunk and drugged driving
4. Avoidance of wrong-side driving

🎭 A creative street play featuring “Yamraj & Chitragupta” effectively conveyed how negligence on roads can lead to irreversible consequences.
Helmets were distributed to encourage safer riding practices.

The campaign reinforced the message that road safety is a shared responsibility. Let us work together to build safer highways and save lives.
