| DISHA Committee Meeting: Review of Development Works in Faridabad

A meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) was held under the chairmanship of Union Minister of State for Cooperation and Faridabad MP Ch. Krishan Pal Gurjar.

Key issues including waterlogging, drinking water, roads, sewerage, street lighting, sanitation and waste management were reviewed. Officials were directed to ensure permanent solutions, timely completion of pending works, quality standards and physical verification before payments.

The meeting reaffirmed the focus on efficient civic infrastructure, accountability and timely delivery of public services in Faridabad.

| EVM-VVPAT Warehouse Security Reviewed in Faridabad

Deputy Commissioner Shri Ayush Sinha conducted the quarterly inspection of the EVM-VVPAT Warehouse at Sports Complex, Sector 12, Faridabad, along with CTM Ankit Kumar and representatives of political parties.

The security arrangements, CCTV surveillance, fire safety equipment, cleanliness and other essential facilities were thoroughly reviewed. The DC directed officials to ensure strict compliance with all security standards prescribed by the Election Commission of India and keep CCTV systems operational at all times.

He reiterated that there must be no lapse in the security of EVM-VVPAT machines.

| Samadhan Shivir: An Effective Platform for Resolving Citizens’ Grievances

Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Shri Ayush Sinha, the Samadhan Shivir was held at the Mini Secretariat, Sector-12, Faridabad, where SDM Faridabad Dr. Hunny Bansal heard the grievances of citizens.

Citizens raised issues primarily related to Family ID (PPP), ration cards, encroachment, police and electricity services. Necessary directions were issued to the concerned departments for prompt resolution of the grievances.

The event was graced by Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Nayab Saini, former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, Union Minister of State Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar, Haryana Ministers Shri Vipul Goel, Shri Rajesh Nagar, and Shri Gaurav Gautam, along with several MLAs and other dignitaries.

The historic Surajkund witnessed an extraordinary display of unity, fitness, and social commitment today at the Nasha-Mukt Haryana Faridabad Namo Marathon 2026, flagged off by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Nayab Saini.

💪 With over 1.35 lakh registrations and near-full participation, thousands of participants came together with one shared resolve — to stay away from drugs, embrace a healthy lifestyle, and contribute to nation-building.
