Deputy Commissioner Faridabad is the key government institution responsible for delivery of good governance in the District Faridabad.

Faridabad is about 25 Kilometers from Delhi in 28o 25' 16" North Latitude and 77o 18' 28" East Longitude. It is bounded by Union Territory of Delhi (National Capital) on its north, Palwal District in the south, Gurgaon District on the west and State of Utter Pradesh on its east. The river Yamuna separate the District Boundary on eastern side with UP State. Delhi-Agra National Highway No.2 (Shersha

h Suri Marg) passes through centre of District. Faridabad comes under the Faridabad Division of Haryana. Haryana is divided in Six Divisions. Each Division is headed by Divisional commissioner. The Deputy Commissioner is the administrative head of District. The Faridabad is divided into three Sub Divisions and each Sub Division is headed by Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM). The district has 116 Gram Panchayats, 2 Block/Panchayat Samitis and a Zila Parishad located in 2 Community Development Blocks. It has 192 revenue villages located in 3 tehsils and 5 sub tehsils. It has one Parliamentary seat (10-Faridabad) and six state legislative assembly seats (85-Prithla, 86-Faridabad NIT, 87-Badkhal, 88-Ballabgarh, 89-Faridabad and 90-Tigaon).

| A District NCORD Committee meeting was chaired by ADC Smt. Anjali Shrotriya to review the implementation of the District Action Plan for drug de-addiction and strengthen coordinated efforts across departments.

Key directions included:

✅ Strict legal action against drug trafficking and illegal sale of narcotics.
✅ Strengthening de-addiction centres, counselling, treatment, and rehabilitation services.

| 📢 स्वयं सहायता समूहों के लिए सुनहरा अवसर!

हरियाणा सरकार की नई पहल के तहत HSRLM से पंजीकृत स्वयं सहायता समूहों को डेयरी स्थापित करने के लिए ग्राम पंचायत की 500 वर्ग गज तक शामलात भूमि 5 वर्ष की लीज पर उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी। पात्रता पूरी होने और संतोषजनक संचालन पर लीज अवधि 3 वर्ष तक बढ़ाई भी जा सकेगी।

| 📚 व्यावसायिक मार्गदर्शन सप्ताह के तहत जिलेभर में करियर सेमिनार आयोजित।

मंडल रोजगार कार्यालय, फरीदाबाद द्वारा 20 से 24 जुलाई 2026 तक विभिन्न विद्यालयों एवं तकनीकी शिक्षण संस्थानों में करियर सेमिनार आयोजित किए गए।

सेमिनारों में विद्यार्थियों को करियर विकल्पों, सरकारी नौकरियों की तैयारी, स्वरोजगार के अवसरों, कौशल विकास तथा सकारात्मक सोच के महत्व के बारे में मार्गदर्शन दिया गया। विशेषज्ञों ने विद्यार्थियों को अपनी रुचि और क्षमता के अनुरूप लक्ष्य निर्धारित कर निरंतर प्रयास करने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

| A review meeting regarding various tasks related to district road safety, traffic management, and national highways was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Smt. Anjali Shrotriya.

Officials from the Traffic Police, NHAI, Public Works Department (PWD), Smart City Limited, the Municipal Corporation, and other concerned departments participated in the meeting.

The primary objective of the meeting was to strengthen road safety measures, prevent accidents, improve traffic management on national highways, and ensure the completion of pending works within the stipulated timeframe.

| The NHPC Underpass demonstrated the effectiveness of its drainage infrastructure during continuous rainfall.

Despite persistent showers, no waterlogging was observed, and traffic continued to move smoothly, ensuring hassle-free travel for commuters.

| A review meeting regarding district mining monitoring and the control of illegal mining was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Smt. Anjali Shrotriya.

Officials from the Forest Department, Mining Department, District Administration, Transport Department, and other concerned departments participated in the meeting.

The meeting reviewed the status of approved mining areas, the utilization of the District Mineral Foundation (DMF) fund, environmental compliance, and enforcement actions being taken against illegal mining and overloaded vehicles.
