As per the directions of Punjab State Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar (Mohali), and under the guidance of Sh. Dharminder Paul Singla, Learned District & Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Fazilka, a meeting was held with the Mediators of DLSA, Fazilka by Ms. Ruchi Swapan Sharma, Learned Secretary, DLSA, Fazilka on 29.05.2026. In this meeting, all the Mediators were directed to perform their duties with dedication, make earnest efforts for amicable settlement of disputes, and ensure timely disposal of mediation cases in accordance with the prescribed rules and guidelines.

Dharminder Paul Singla, Learned District & Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Fazilka, a meeting was held with the Legal Aid Defense Counsels of DLSA, Fazilka by Ms. Ruchi Swapan Sharma, Learned Secretary, DLSA, Fazilka on 29.05.2026. In this meeting, all the LADCs were directed to perform their duties with utmost sincerity and dedication, ensure effective legal representation to eligible beneficiaries, maintain regular coordination with the concerned courts and jail authorities.

Dharminder Paul Singla, Learned District & Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Fazilka, and under the supervision of Madam Ruchi Swapan Sharma, Learned Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Fazilka, Awareness Programmes were conducted by the Para Legal Volunteers of District Legal Services Authority, Fazilka in the Village Mahuana Bodla and Village Mooliyan wali of District Fazilka on 23.05.2026. Villagers of the said villages were made aware about the NALSA's Schemes. The Para Legal Volunteers sensitized the residents regarding their legal rights and duties, and informed them about the various welfare schemes and free legal aid services available to the weaker sections of society.

Dharminder Paul Singla, Learned District & Sessions Judge-cum-Chairperson, DLSA Fazilka and supervision of Madam Ruchi Swapan Sharma, Learned Secretary, DLSA, Fazilka, Nukkad Nataks on Legal Aid, the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, and Domestic Violence Law was organized under the event “Suraksh*t Bachpan, Suraksh*t Bhavishya” were held on 15.05.2026 at Govt High School Raipura and Govt. Senior Secondary School, Dutrawali.
During the programme, students were made aware about the provisions relating to free legal aid, child protection laws under the POCSO Act, rights of children, and legal remedies available under domestic violence laws. Information regarding Toll Free Helpline Number 15100 was also shared.
