In view of the sharp rise in Covid-19 positive cases from past few days in Manigam, the District Development Council (DDC) Member LA-A Sajad Durani has appealed to the people to stay indoors , follow all the Covid-19 related SOPs and guidelines more especially using face masks and maintaining social distancing so that any kind of major exigency is averted.
The DDC Member said that there is an urgency to follow all the Covid-19 mitigation measures in letter and spirit as the situation is deteriorating day by day.

LAR - A, JANUARY 31: The District Development Council Member lar-A, Sajad Ahmad Rather today visted many areas of the constituency to address the public grievances and listened to the public regarding issues like restoration of electric transformer etc.
The DDC member also assured them that all the issues raised by them would be addressed at the earliest. He resolved several issues on the spot besides gives instructions to the concerned departments to take the measures to addressed the public grievances.

DDC Lar-A monitors restoration of essential services, snow clearance operation in Anderwan

Lar-A, January 10, 2021: - DDC Lar-A, Sajad Ahmad Rather today took whirlwind tour of Anderwan town of Lar-A constituency to monitor the snow clearance operation, restoration of essential services.
During the visit the DDC personally monitored the snow clearance operations, restoration of electricity and water supply in the area.

The areas which were inspected by the DDC of various wings include yarmuqam,Anderwan,Haripora,Arhama

Regarding restoration of electricity and water supply which are affected with snow, the DDC was informed that most of water schemes are functional besides restoration of electricity will be ensured till evening in affected areas.
