District Employment Exchange, Gandhinagar, Gujarat

The District Employment Exchange, Gandhinagar successfully organized JOB FAIR 2026 on 29 July 2026 at Swaminarayan University, Kalol, Gandhinagar.

The job fair received an encouraging response from both employers and job seekers. A total of 9 companies and 77 candidates participated in the recruitment drive, offering employment opportunities to candidates with qualifications ranging from SSC, HSC, ITI, Diploma, and Graduate. And 68 candidates are primary selection.

In addition to the recruitment drive, candidates were sensitized about various Government of India and Government of Gujarat employment and career development initiatives. Awareness sessions and guidance were provided on:

PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY)

PM Internship Scheme

MY Bharat Portal

National Career Service (NCS) Portal

Anubandham Portal

National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (Apprenticeship)

Self-Employment Opportunities under various government schemes, including entrepreneurship guidance.

The awareness sessions aimed to inform youth about employment, apprenticeship, internship, self-employment, and career development opportunities available through these initiatives, enabling them to make informed career choices.

The District Employment Exchange, Gandhinagar extends its sincere gratitude to Swaminarayan University, all participating employers, and every candidate for their valuable support in making the event a success.

The Department remains committed to organizing such placement drives and awareness programmes to enhance employability, promote skill development, and create sustainable livelihood opportunities for the youth.
