Here's an easy-to-understand breakdown of common valve types and their real-world uses, based on the reference image:

1. Butterfly Valve
◾ Use: Quick shut-off in large pipes.
◾ Where: Water systems, fire protection, HVAC systems.

2. Ball Valve
◾ Use: Precise on/off control with minimal leakage.

3. Check Valve
