PM SHRI Government Senior Secondary School, Temi, Namchi District, Sikkim

PM SHRI GSSS, Temi observed Swachhata Pakhwada with a speech on the importance of cleanliness and sanitation, followed by a Swachhata Pakhwada pledge by students and staff.

A cleanliness drive was conducted in the school premises, along with weeding and maintenance of flower beds and garden areas. The activities aimed to promote cleanliness, hygiene, environmental awareness, and a sense of responsibility among students.

The 15-day Swachhata Pakhwada programme will continue with various cleanliness and awareness activities.

Report on Independence Day Celebration at SGIHNS, Sheda
The Independence Day celebration was organized at SGIHNS, Sheda, by the National Service Scheme (NSS) under the guidance and leadership of the Programme Officer, Acharya Sherap Dorjee Bhutia.
The programme was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Senior Hostel Warden Acharya Sherap T. Tamang. The occasion was observed with a deep sense of patriotism, respect, and gratitude towards the nation and those who sacrificed their lives for India’s freedom.

As part of the celebration, students delivered meaningful speeches highlighting the history and significance of India’s Independence and the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. The students also observed a moment of prayer in remembrance of all those who lost their lives in the struggle for freedom.

The occasion was dedicated to all Indian brothers and sisters, with a message of unity, peace, patriotism, and responsibility towards the nation. The programme concluded with a renewed commitment among the students to uphold the values of freedom, unity, and national integrity.
