KVIC's objective is to provide employment, produce saleable articles & create self-reliance amongst people and build a rural community spirit with the thought of Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) scheme is a 'credit linked subsidy Programme' for generation of employment opportunities through establishment of Micro enterprises in rural areas as well as urban

areas of the country. Government of India has also approved 2nd loan for upgrading the existing financed under PMEGP/MUDRA units, which are performing well in terms of turnover, profit and loan repayment. Financial assistance for manufacturing units upto Rs. 1.00 Crore and for service/trading units upto Rs. 25.00 Lakhs with subsidy/Margin Money 15% for Non-NER states for all category and 20% for NER & Hilly States for all category.
