As part of the celebration of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, APRO Training School organised a football tournament among trainees and staff, fostering unity, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

All participating teams displayed exceptional dedication, coordination, and sporting spirit throughout the tournament.

The final match was held on 29th June 2026 between the Level-III Trainees and the Staff team in an exciting and closely contested encounter.
After a thrilling performance, the Level-III Trainees emerged victorious with a 2–1 win, showcasing remarkable skill, determination, and team spirit.

The Valedictory Session of the 12-week PWCC Level-II Course, comprising 59 trainees from Squad Nos. 1385, 1386, and 1387, was held on 25th June, 2026 at the Auditorium Hall of APRO Training School, Jalukbari, Guwahati, marking the successful completion of an intensive and comprehensive training programme.

The occasion was graced by Shri Chittaranjan Ojah, APTS, Sr. Superintendent of Police/C (T&A); Shri Madhuryajit Lahon, APTS, Addl. SP (C), APRO HQ; and Shri Nilamani Talukdar, Joint Assistant Director, ISPW Station, Dispur, who also served as the External Member of TTB.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome address delivered by Inspector (T) Rabilochan Swargiary and concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Inspector (T) Jitu Saikia.

HC (WO/WT) Abinash Kalita and HC (WO/WT) Sintu Kumar Kalita were jointly honoured with the Best Trainee Award for their outstanding performance, commitment, and exemplary conduct during the training programme.

APRO Training School, Jalukbari, expresses its profound grief and sorrow at the tragic loss of Squadron Leader Prashant Singh, Flight Lieutenant Shubham Kumar, Sergeant Jitendra Sharma, Agniveervayu Khemaram Kumawat, and Agniveervayu Dennis Alam in the Indian Air Force AN-32 aircraft accident at Jorhat.

These brave air warriors made the supreme sacrifice in the service of the nation. Their unwavering patriotism, courage, dedication to duty, and selfless commitment to safeguarding the motherland will remain a lasting inspiration to all.

We salute their exemplary service and noble sacrifice, which will forever stand as a shining testament to devotion and loyalty towards the nation.

We pray for the eternal peace of the departed souls and extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families during this hour of immense grief.

On the occasion of World Environment Day, observed on 5th June 2026, APRO Training School, Jalukbari, Guwahati joined hands with the rest of the world in commemorating the day through a sapling plantation programme conducted within the campus premises.

The programme was carried out in the gracious presence of Shri Chittaranjan Ojah, APTS, Sr. Superintendent of Police/C (T&A), along with the staff members and trainees of APRO Training School, Jalukbari.

The initiative reflected the institution’s commitment towards environmental conservation and the collective responsibility of nurturing a greener and healthier future for generations to come.

The occasion was graced by Shri Chittaranjan Ojah, APTS, Sr. Superintendent of Police/C (T&A); Shri Madhuryajit Lahon, APTS, Addl. SP (C), APRO HQ; and Shri Ranjan Kumar Roy, Joint Assistant Director, ISPW Station, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, who also served as the External Member of the TTB.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome address delivered by Inspector (T) Nayanjyoti Sarmah and concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Inspector (T) Jitu Saikia. The event beautifully reflected the values of dedication, discipline, teamwork, and professional excellence instilled in the trainees throughout the course.

ASI (WO/WT) Karan Barman was honoured with the Best Trainee Award for his outstanding performance, sincerity, and commitment during the training programme.
