Our cadets attended the Infantry Attachment Camp organised by the 2 Bengal BN NCC at the historic Barrackpore Cantonment, gaining valuable first-hand exposure to military life and rigorous training.

The camp aimed to provide cadets with a regimented lifestyle, build self-confidence, develop leadership qualities, and bridge the gap between theoretical classroom learning and practical soldiering skills.
It's an amazing experience.

Lt Gen Virendra Vats, YSM, SM, VSM has assumed charge as the 35th Director General of the National Cadet Corps. Commissioned into the 19 KUMAON Regiment of the Indian Army on 17 Dec 1988, the General Officer is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Defence Services Staff College , Wellington, College of Defence Management, Secunderabad and the National Defence College, New Delhi. He took over the charge of DG NCC from Lt Gen Gurbirpal Singh, PVSM, AVSM, VSM.
