As part of our to learning, our & students visited the Office Bilaspur to gain first-hand exposure to the of the police administration and understand the practical aspects of public service.

The had an enriching interaction with Abhishek and Madan Dhiman Sir, who shared valuable insights into the working of the police , law enforcement, safety and administrative responsibilities.
by their teachers, the students actively engaged in the visit, asked questions and explored how concepts related to civics, administration and society translate into real-world practice.
Such exposure visits broaden perspectives, encourage curiosity and help students develop a deeper understanding of the world them.

Under the banner of -Tinkers of (Science Project Series) – 3, a project report entitled " & Cold Bottle – To Demonstrate the Effect of Temperature on Air (Expansion and Contraction of Gases)" is attached.
Students Participated:
Shnaya – Class VIII
Anvi – Class VIII
This activity demonstrates that air expands when heated and contracts when cooled. As the bottle is placed in hot water, the air inside expands and inflates the balloon. When transferred to cold water, the air contracts, causing the balloon to shrink back. Through this simple yet effective experiment, students gain a practical understanding of the effect of temperature on gases and develop scientific observation and reasoning skills.
A demonstration of this activity is by our students in the video uploaded in the previous post.

💡 Insight:
When the bottle is placed in hot water, the air gets heated and , moving into the balloon and it to inflate. When the is transferred to cold water, the air cools and , making the balloon shrink back to its original size. This simple experiment clearly how temperature affects gases.
