Mount Kailash, highest peak in Chamba is situated in pir panjal range of Himalayas and is the revered abode of lord Shiva. People from all over India throng to place in the month of August and September every year to offer prayers to lord shiva at this high mountain. The manimahesh lake is situated at a height of 13390 feet amsl. People mostly travel a distance of 13 kms from Hadsar to the lake on foot. They spend night at midway Dhancho or at Gauri fund and take holy dip in the lake and have blissful mani Darshan at mount kailash
