In connection with the Ceremonial Distribution of Financial Incentives to Meritorious Students securing 60% and above in the HSLC and HS Examination, 2026, along with Financial Incentives to Talented Sportspersons excelling in different fields, the staff of the Mising Autonomous Council are engaged in full-fledged preparations in Keeping the Cheque and other necessary documents ready for the event today at the Conference Hall of the Council.

The dedicated staff teams of the Council will travel to different constituencies on Sunday to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the ceremonial distribution programme scheduled to be held on 31st August 2026.

The entire team of the Council is putting in extra effort, dedication and collective strength to ensure that the benefits reach the deserving students and sportspersons in a smooth, transparent and timely manner.

The Principal Secretary of the Mising Autonomous Council, Sri Jadav Pegu, ACS, today inspected the ongoing 20-Day Residential Training Programme on Hair Technician at the Rural Livelihood Resources Centre.

The Mising Autonomous Council has so far successfully trained 200 Hair Technicians, providing tribal youth with valuable vocational skills and opportunities for sustainable livelihood.

The Council has also received recognition from the India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records for organising the Largest Hair Technician (Barber) Training Programme for Tribal Youths—a remarkable achievement reflecting its commitment towards skill development, employment generation and youth empowerment.

This is to inform all concerned that the Distribution of Financial Assistance to Meritorious Students who have secured 60% and above marks in the HS and HSLC Examination, 2026, through cheque, will be held on 31st August, 2026, from 10:00 AM onwards at their respective Constituencies of the Mising Autonomous Council.

On the same day, the Financial Assistance to Talented Sports Persons who have excelled in different fields of sports will also be distributed through cheque at their respective Constituencies.

Further, a Ceremonial Distribution of Training Certificates will also be held on the same date for the Skill Development Trainees

7th Batch Skill Development Training Programme

The opening ceremony of the 7th Batch of the 3-Day Residential Skill Development Training Programme for educated unemployed youth (Male/Female) was held Yesterday Dated- 17th August 2026, at Lakhimpur College of Veterinary Science, Joyhing, North Lakhimpur.

The training programme, being organised to promote self-employment and sustainable livelihood opportunities among the youth, focuses on practical training in:

🐖 Scientific Pig Rearing
🐔 Poultry Farming
🐐 Goatery Farming
🐄 Dairy (Cattle) Farming

The three-day residential training programme will continue from 17th to 19th August 2026, providing participants with practical knowledge and scientific techniques to develop successful livestock-based enterprises.

The 6th Batch of the 4-Day Residential Skill Development Training Programme on Scientific Fish Farming was inaugurated today, 17th August 2026, at M/s Madhukalya Aquatic Farm, Seajuli, Boginadi.

The training programme was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Executive Member, Mising Autonomous Council, Sri Paramananda Chayengia in Presence of Executive Member, Sri Biju Pegu

The initiative aims to equip rural unemployed youth with practical knowledge and scientific techniques in fish farming, thereby promoting sustainable livelihoods, entrepreneurship and economic empowerment among the youth.

The Mising Autonomous Council remains committed to strengthening skill development and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for the people of the Mising community.
