I engaged in a raw, grounded conversation with our farmers. We spoke about pricing volatility, rising input costs, market access, storage gaps, and the daily uncertainties that shape rural livelihoods. Their message was clear. They do not seek assurances. They seek accountability. They seek outcomes.
It reinforced why Viksit Bharat Gram Abhiyan is not optional. It is foundational.
VBGRAM G is about moving beyond announcements to ex*****on. It is about strengthening last mile governance, building modern rural infrastructure, deepening digital integration, improving value chain efficiency, and ensuring that every rupee allocated translates into measurable impact at the grassroots. Reform must be visible in the mandi, not just in policy documents.
I sensitised farmers on how VBGRAM G can directly empower them, from improved market intelligence and storage facilities to processing, diversification, and rural enterprise opportunities. When villages are institutionally strengthened, farmers transition from being vulnerable price takers to confident value creators.
A Viksit Bharat cannot be built on uneven foundations. It must rise from empowered villages. Growth that bypasses rural India is incomplete. Growth that strengthens rural India is irreversible.
The transformation of India will not begin in conference halls. It will begin in our mandis, in our fields, and in the collective resolve of our gram sabhas.
