Maruti Vihar Sarbojanin Durgotsab Committee Maruti Vihar Sarbojanin Durgotsav was formed in 1991 with a vision to celebrate Durga Puja and MVSD is the 3rd oldest Durga Puja in Gurgaon.

It's a 4 day event with an excellent cultural show. Started by early settlers in Gurgaon from West Bengal, when Maruti Udyog opened it's first passenger car factory here in 1984. MVSD was formed in 1991 by these residents of Maruti Vihar, Saraswati Vihar, Sushant Lok-I and Chandralok who missed the festivity and fervour of Durga Puja as celebrated in West Bengal. MVSD has completed 25 glorious yea

rs of Durga Puja and is one of the oldest and most famous Durga Pujas in Gurgaon. In 2015, it won the Best Probasi Sarad Samman award from West Bengal Government (among all participating Durga Pujas in India, UK, Singapore & USA) with it's unique "Save The Girl Child" based Durga Puja.
