We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Ustad Zakir Hussain, a legendary tabla maestro whose rhythms touched hearts across the globe. His unparalleled talent and dedication to music inspired generations of artists and music lovers alike.

His legacy will live on through his timeless contributions to art and culture. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and all those mourning this irreplaceable loss. May his soul rest in eternal peace. 🙏

The National Centre for Good Governance, under their “training program on policy and governance for civil servants of Combodia” visted DC office on 3rd December. As part of this, KalaGram was delighted to host this delegation from Combodia’s tourism department and exchanged our art and culture with them. Starting from the KalaGram corner’s wall paintings to the one of a kind of Museo Camera’s installations and antique pieces, it was a wonderful experience. The exchange flowed from both sides, where we got to learn about them and their thoughts on everything they saw. Special thanks to Mr. Aditya Arya, Founder, Director of Museo camera for an inspiring and insightful tour at Museo Camera!

KalaGram brought together a panel of some really talented poets, creatives, and thinkers for a vibrant session. Themes of nostalgia, romance, and comedy flowed in every poem. We also dove deep through informal discussions into the role of AI in creativity, sparked thought-provoking discussions, and shared laughs. The energy was electric, and the connections were real. Thank you to everyone who made this Chai Chaupal another huge success!

Winter is almost here, and there’s nothing cozier than chai, samosas, and heartfelt stories. This November, come enjoy and immerse yourself in two unforgettable evenings of captivating performances:

1. Love Stories of Ismat Chughtai & S Aadat Manto
An exploration of the bold, timeless writings of two playwrights—Ismat Chughtai and S Aadat Manto. This play is all about the modern, ahead-of-its-time perspectives on relationships and love. Featuring three stories:
* Mughal Bachcha: A tale of a couple that is about traditions of honour and the veil.
* Do Kaumein: A story of love divided by religious differences.
* Hajtakushi: A woman broken by failed love finds an unexpected turn in life through a fateful meeting.
