Gurugram is growing fast.

New roads.
New buildings.
New offices.
New communities.

But along with growth, the city also needs trees, biodiversity, cleaner air and spaces where people can breathe.

That’s why we’re looking for suitable land in Gurugram for tree plantation.

Gurugram roads are turning into garbage zones. But why are we accepting this?

Gurugram is called a Millennium City.

Yet garbage still covers many roads.

This is not just a bad visual.

It creates foul smell.
It attracts animals.
It spreads disease.
It blocks drains.
It increases mosquito breeding.
It makes walking unsafe.
And during rain, the same garbage worsens waterlogging.

A clean city cannot be built only through complaints.

It needs regular waste collection, strict action against illegal dumping, waste segregation, better public bins, RWA monitoring and citizen responsibility.

At Give Back To Gurugram, we are bringing residents, RWAs, corporates, schools, markets and waste-management solution providers together to work on practical civic solutions.

Gurugram’s roads should carry people, not garbage.

Subhash Chowk flooded again. But how long will families keep suffering? 🌧️

Every rainy season, Gurugram residents face the same struggle.

Roads flood.
Traffic stops.
School buses get stuck.
Families struggle to move.
Office-goers lose hours.
Dirty water enters daily life.

People say, “Taxes like Europe, facilities like Uganda.”

It sounds harsh, but the frustration is real.

Subhash Chowk has become another painful example of Gurugram’s broken drainage system.

This is not just rain.

This is blocked drains.
This is garbage in stormwater lines.
This is poor planning.
This is failed rainwater management.
This is delayed action.

Gurugram needs clean drains, waste-free stormwater channels, functional rainwater harvesting, recharge pits, hotspot mapping and accountability before rainfall.

Waterlogging kab khatam hogi Gurugram mein?

Only when action starts before the rain.

A huge sinkhole reportedly opened at Gurugram’s IFFCO Chowk after heavy rainfall, disrupting traffic and raising serious concerns for commuters and road safety.

This is not just a road damage issue.

It is a warning sign.

When rainwater is not managed properly, it can weaken roads, overload drains and create unsafe conditions at busy junctions.

Gurugram needs stronger drainage, regular road inspections, clean stormwater lines, functional rainwater harvesting systems and better monsoon planning.

Rain should not break our roads.

Most of the time, it collects on roads.

Then roads become ponds.
Traffic stops.
Residents suffer.
And Gurugram floods again.

But rainwater can also become a solution.

With proper rainwater harvesting, rooftop water can be collected, filtered and sent into recharge pits to restore groundwater.

Rain cannot be stopped.
But rainwater can be managed. 💧

**Rainwater should not become roadwater. Rainwater should become groundwater.**

Gurugram Roads Become Rivers Again 🌧️

At Subhash Chowk, rain completely submerged roads as a school bus and residents were seen stuck in severe waterlogging.

This is not just a traffic problem.

This is a safety problem.
This is a planning problem.
This is a drainage problem.
This is a rainwater management problem.

Children should not be stuck in floodwater.
Residents should not be trapped on roads.
Gurugram should not drown every time it rains.

The same rainwater that floods our roads can recharge groundwater if we manage it properly.

Gurugram needs clean drains, waste-free stormwater lines, functional rainwater harvesting systems and recharge pits near waterlogging hotspots.

**Rainwater should not become roadwater. Rainwater should become groundwater.**

Let’s not wait for Gurugram roads to become rivers again.
Let’s fix what is blocking the city.
