DMSWSL has entered into a Concession Agreement with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi in July 2009 for providing services for door-to-door collection of municipal waste from selected Zones of MCD including Secondary Transportation, process and disposal of the same, and conducting Public Awareness among the stakeholders in accordance with MSW Rules 2000. The objective is to deploy multiple process

es such as composting of organic waste, Refuse Derived Fuel, and Waste to Energy (Thermal processing) to derive optimum advantage of processing to minimize the landfill footprint of the residues for a period of 20 years plus 15 years of post-closure period.
