Investiture Ceremony at Greenwood Public School!

GWPS marked a significant milestone in school's calendar as it celebrated the Investiture Ceremony for the newly appointed Senior & Junior Students' Council (2025-26). The event filled with enthusiasm and energy, was witnessed by proud parents of the Council members.

All the Council members took an oath led by honorable Principal Ma'am, promising to fulfill their duties with dedication and integrity, igniting in them a sense of accountability. In her motivational speech, Principal Ma'am reminded the students of the true essence of leadership — to uphold the values, respect, and dignity of the institution at all times. She emphasized that “the flag of the school should be held higher and higher,” urging young leaders to strive for excellence in all their endeavours.

Newly appointed Sr. Head Boy and Sr. Head Girl on behalf of the Council members promised to work with dedication and commitment and keep up the expectations.

Witnessing our bright young minds step into their leadership roles was truly inspiring. From the solemn oath-taking to the proud pinning of badges, every moment radiated commitment and excitement for the year ahead.

Our students from Classes IX to XII recently embarked on an exciting *4-day educational trip* to the beautiful hills of *Dharamshala & McLeodganj.* From the refreshing *Bhagsunag Falls* and peaceful *Dal Lake* to exploring the *Tibetan Monastery* and vibrant local markets, every experience brought learning to life.

Staying in a luxurious resort, students enjoyed music, dance, bonfires, and unforgettable bonding moments. This trip wasn’t just a break—it was a blend of exploration, growth, and joy. Full of laughter, new friendships, and lasting memories, it truly showcased how travel inspires young minds. 🌄🎒✨

"A Mother is she who can take the place of all others, but no one else can take the place of her".

To celebrate this beautiful and special bond a heartwarming Mother's Day Special assembly was conducted by students of Classes Nursery –V in school premises.
The assembly was a vibrant combination of Skit, dance, music and a heart touching poem stating the sacrifices, selflessness and greatness of a mother. Students enthusiastically participated in class activities and made beautiful cards and posters for their Mothers. The auditorium was filled with smiles and few happy tears as we celebrated the incredible role of mother playing in shaping our lives.
