"Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, for the self."

To promote physical fitness, mental well-being, and a healthy lifestyle among students and staff GWPS enthusiastically celebrated Yoga Week. The week-long celebration included various activities such as meditation sessions, breathing exercises and awareness talks. Students enthusiastically performed yoga asanas, practiced pranayama, and learned the significance of a balanced lifestyle.
A week dedicated to health, harmony, and mindfulness concluded with a special assembly conducted by the Student Council highlighting the importance of yoga in daily life. The main attraction of the Assembly was Yoga demonstrations by a group of Greenwoodians. Their agility and strength was commendable.

The event reflected our commitment to nurturing not only academic excellence but also the physical and mental well-being of our students.

Honourable Principal Ma’am encouraged all students to make yoga a part of their daily routine. She motivated everyone to embrace this healthy habit and move towards a happier, healthier and more mindful future.

The grand finale was observed on 21st June, International Yoga Day, when students, teachers, and staff members gathered together online to perform yoga asanas and reaffirm their commitment to a healthy and disciplined lifestyle.

🌄✨ Learning Beyond the Classroom: An Unforgettable Journey to Mukteshwar Dham & Bhimtal ✨🌄

True education goes beyond the pages of a textbook. Keeping this spirit of experiential learning alive, the students of Classes X to XII, accompanied by their teachers, embarked on a memorable Educational Excursion to Mukteshwar Dham and Bhimtal from 26th May to 29th May, 2026.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Kumaon hills, the trip offered students a perfect blend of learning, adventure, and personal growth. Throughout the journey, they enthusiastically participated in a variety of activities that fostered teamwork, leadership, confidence, and independence. From exploring the natural beauty of the region and visiting places of spiritual significance to engaging in group activities and creating lasting friendships, every moment became a valuable learning experience.

The excursion provided students with an opportunity to step outside their daily routines, connect with nature, strengthen bonds with their peers, and develop important life skills.

Sharing a few glimpses of these cherished moments that beautifully capture the joy of learning, exploration, and togetherness.
